Non-smoking hotels in Las Vegas come in three kinds: one fully smoke-free casino resort, a group of hotels with no casino at all, and the big resorts where your room is smoke-free but the casino floor isn’t. Nevada law still allows smoking in most casino areas, so which kind you book matters more than any “non-smoking room” checkbox.
Quick answer
Park MGM is the only casino resort on the Strip that’s smoke-free throughout, and has been since Sept. 30, 2020; The Reserve at Park MGM occupies its top floors. If you don’t gamble, book a casino-free, smoke-free hotel: Vdara or Waldorf Astoria on the center Strip, or Four Seasons and W Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay.

1. Park MGM: Best Smoke-Free Casino Resort

Best Smoke-Free Casino Resort
Park MGM Las Vegas
- Smoke-free casino
- Eataly
- Next to T-Mobile Arena
- Dolby Live
The only casino resort on the Strip where the whole property, casino floor included, has been smoke-free since it reopened on Sept. 30, 2020. You still get the full Las Vegas package: Eataly, Dolby Live and T-Mobile Arena next door via The Park.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
The policy is current. In August 2026 the Las Vegas Sun called it “the fully nonsmoking Park MGM,” home to the largest smoke-free casino space in the city. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
It’s a practical base, too. The free ARIA Express tram starts here and runs to CityCenter and Bellagio, and the resort fee is $50 + tax per night, with self-parking at $20 a day for hotel guests (as of October 2026).
Watch out for: guests mention dated rooms, no in-room fridge, thin walls and bass from events, and long check-in lines at busy times.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
2. The Reserve at Park MGM: Best Boutique Smoke-Free Stay

Best Boutique Smoke-Free Stay
The Reserve at Park MGM
- Formerly NoMad
- Private Terrace Pool
- Smoke-free casino
- Boutique feel
A hotel-within-a-hotel on the top four floors of Park MGM’s tower, with 293 rooms and suites, its own lobby and the private Terrace Pool. It was NoMad Las Vegas until Dec. 17, 2025.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
The Reserve sits inside Park MGM, so the smoke-free casino is an elevator ride away, and its smoke-free status follows Park MGM’s property-wide policy. There’s no separate statement from the hotel itself, so confirm when you book. The rebrand renamed the old venues too: the NoMad Pool is now The Terrace Pool, and NoMad Bar is The Reserve Bar.
Fees match Park MGM’s: $50 + tax per night and $20 a day to self-park. MGM said the hotel would join Marriott’s Autograph Collection in early 2026, but that switch hadn’t been confirmed at last check.
3. Vdara: Best Casino-Free Base on the Center Strip

Best Casino-Free Base on the Center Strip
Vdara Hotel & Spa
- No casino
- Smoke-free
- All suites
- Walk to Bellagio
An all-suite, non-gaming and smoke-free tower in CityCenter, linked by interior walkways to Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan and served by the free ARIA Express tram. Suites with kitchenettes make it a good fit for families and longer stays.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Vdara has no casino and no nightclub, which is exactly why smoke-sensitive travelers book it. You get a 40,000-square-foot pool area shaded by big blue umbrellas, and you can walk indoors to Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan. Just remember that Bellagio’s casino, at the other end of that walkway, allows smoking.
Watch out for: the $55 + tax resort fee is the same as Bellagio’s, and guests say it buys limited on-site amenities. Reviewers also find the parking arrangements confusing, and kitchenettes lack basic cookware unless you request it.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
4. Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas: Best Luxury Hotel Without a Casino

Best Luxury Hotel Without a Casino
Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas
- No casino
- Smoke-free
- Peacock Alley tea lounge
- Four-Star spa
A quiet, non-gaming, non-smoking luxury hotel in CityCenter, with afternoon tea at Peacock Alley on the 23rd floor, a Forbes Four-Star spa and an eighth-floor deck with three pools. Travel + Leisure readers voted it the No. 1 hotel in Las Vegas in the magazine’s 2026 World’s Best Awards.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
This is the pick for couples who want luxury without slot machines. The $55 + tax resort fee includes house-car rides within a 3-mile radius, fitness classes, two bottles of water a day and overnight shoeshine. Parking is valet only, at $45 a day, and the hotel describes T-Mobile Arena as steps away.
Watch out for: extras such as afternoon tea and in-hotel dining are expensive, and some guests mention worn room details. Forbes rates the hotel itself as Recommended. More options are in our guide to luxury hotels in Las Vegas.
5. Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas: Best for Families Who Want Calm

Best for Families Who Want Calm
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas
- No casino
- Smoke-free
- Five-Star spa
- Private pool + Mandalay Bay Beach
Five dedicated floors within the Mandalay Bay complex, with a private entrance and elevators, a seasonal private pool and access to Mandalay Bay Beach’s wave pool and lazy river. The spa holds a Forbes Five-Star rating.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
In an April 2026 press release, Four Seasons called itself “the only non-gaming, non-smoking luxury hotel on The Strip.” That’s marketing, since Waldorf Astoria and Vdara are also non-gaming and non-smoking, but the policy is real: smoking isn’t permitted, with a cleaning fee of up to $1,500. Guests single out the calm, non-smoking feel and the separate entrance, and the hotel calls Allegiant Stadium an easy 10-minute walk.
Watch out for: the far-south location, and a resort fee you’ll need to check yourself. Las Vegas Advisor listed $55 in June 2025, some 2026 blogs claim there’s none, and the hotel’s offer terms say rates “may or may not include” mandatory property fees, so read the booking total. Las Vegas Advisor lists parking as valet-only.
6. The Signature at MGM Grand: Best for Kitchenettes and Longer Stays
Best for Kitchenettes and Longer Stays
The Signature at MGM Grand
- No casino
- Smoke-free
- Kitchenettes
- Three private pools
Three non-gaming, completely non-smoking suite towers set back on Harmon Avenue and linked indoors to MGM Grand through The District. Suites have kitchenettes, each tower has its own pool, and valet is free for one car per reservation.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
The Signature’s official FAQ calls the hotel completely non-smoking, with a $500 cleaning fee if someone lights up, and there’s no casino in any of the three towers. When you want the action, MGM Grand’s restaurants, shows and 6.5-acre pool complex are an indoor walk away, as is the Monorail’s MGM Grand station. Our MGM Grand review covers what’s next door.
Watch out for: some guests find the decor dated, valet can be slow at busy times, and it’s a long walk (with moving walkways) to MGM Grand and the Strip. Tower pools rotate seasonally; in late September 2026 only the Tower 2 pool was open. The resort fee is $50 + tax, guests must be 21 to check in, and pets aren’t allowed.
7. W Las Vegas: Best Suites Near Allegiant Stadium
Best Suites Near Allegiant Stadium
W Las Vegas
- Formerly Delano
- No casino
- Smoke-free
- Mandalay Bay Beach access
The former Delano became W Las Vegas on Dec. 18, 2024: a non-gaming, smoke-free tower of 1,117 suites on the Mandalay Bay campus, with its own WET Deck pool and free access to Mandalay Bay Beach.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
The W’s FAQ describes it as a smoke-free hotel, with cleaning fees of $500 for rooms and $1,000 for suites, and the Review-Journal confirms it’s non-gaming. It’s a strong pick for game nights, since MGM puts Allegiant Stadium less than half a mile away, and it’s part of MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy. Our hotels near Allegiant Stadium guide has more stadium options.
Watch out for: most guest reviews still date from the Delano era and mention slow responses from staff and noise from parties in some suites. The resort fee is $50 + tax, and Mandalay Bay’s casino next door isn’t smoke-free.
8. Trump International Hotel Las Vegas: Best Non-Gaming Tower Off the Strip

Best Non-Gaming Tower Off the Strip
Trump International Hotel Las Vegas
- No casino
- Smoke-free
- Year-round pool
- Free valet
A 64-story, non-gaming tower beside Fashion Show mall whose FAQ calls it a “100% non-smoking hotel,” with smoke-free rooms and public areas. Its $39 + tax daily resort fee undercuts most Strip resorts, and valet parking is complimentary.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Trump takes smoking seriously: lighting up in a room costs $1,000 + tax. Guests praise spacious rooms with kitchenettes and the quiet, casino-free atmosphere, and the pool is open year-round (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from November through February, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from March through October).
Watch out for: guests mention noise from the train line and I-15, an unheated pool and kitchen items that must be requested. The hotel markets itself as on the Strip, but it sits on Fashion Show Drive behind it, and Las Vegas Advisor classifies it as off-Strip. Guests must be 21 to check in.
9. Ahern Hotel: Best Smoke-Free Stay With No Resort Fee
Best Smoke-Free Stay With No Resort Fee
Ahern Hotel
- No resort fee
- Free parking
- No casino
- Smoke-free
A non-gaming, non-smoking boutique hotel on West Sahara Avenue near the north end of the Strip that charges no resort fee and no parking fees, according to the hotel.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Ahern is the simplest way to avoid both smoke and fees, and it has its own convention center. Its pool and other amenities weren’t independently verified for this guide, so check photos and recent reviews before you book, and plan on rides for most Strip outings. More no-fee options are in our list of hotels without resort fees.
Big resorts with non-smoking rooms and smoking casinos
Most other resorts sell non-smoking rooms but allow smoking in the casino. Here’s what major resorts say, including the fee you’ll pay if someone smokes in a non-smoking room:
| Resort | Guest rooms | Fee for smoking in a non-smoking room | Smoking allowed |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Venetian and The Palazzo | All suites non-smoking | $500 + tax | Casino floor only |
| MGM Grand | Non-smoking | $500 room, $1,000 suite | Casino (guests report smoke on the floor) |
| Excalibur | Smoke-free | Not stated | Casino floor and bars |
| Paris Las Vegas | Standard rooms non-smoking | Not stated | Designated casino areas |
| Palms | Non-smoking | At least $500 | Designated casino and bar areas; never on the pool deck |
| Rio | Non-smoking | $500 | Designated areas of the casino and bars |
| Golden Nugget | Smoke-free | Not stated | Casino, bars and showroom lobby |
| Downtown Grand | 100% non-smoking | $350 | Casino floor |
That settles two common questions. The Venetian’s suites are smoke-free but its casino isn’t (see our Venetian review). Bellagio’s casino also allows smoking, and guest reviews regularly mention cigarette smoke in the casino and common areas; our Bellagio review has the details.
If you gamble but hate smoke, look for walled-off space. In August 2026 Palms opened a fully enclosed, 7,300-square-foot non-smoking gaming room with its own ventilation, 224 slots and a bar, which the Las Vegas Sun ranks as the city’s second-largest smoke-free casino space after Park MGM. Planet Hollywood has a non-smoking slot area, and Plaza downtown runs a Smoke Free Slots section.
Hotels that still have smoking rooms
For the opposite search, these resorts still sell or assign smoking rooms, according to their own policies:
- Caesars Palace: a few smoking-designated room types (Caesars Palace review)
- Harrah’s: smoking-optional rooms on request; smoking is also allowed at Carnaval Court
- Horseshoe: smoking and non-smoking rooms, with a $500 fee for smoking in a non-smoking one
- Planet Hollywood: smoking-optional rooms on request
- Wynn and Encore: designated smoking floors, plus smoking on the casino floor, patio and pool areas (Wynn review)
- Treasure Island: a limited number of smoking rooms on the 36th floor
- The STRAT: designated smoking and vaping rooms
- Plaza: Deluxe Smoking rooms downtown
The Vanderpump Hotel’s FAQ contradicts itself on whether smoking rooms exist, so ask before booking. Cannabis is a separate rule: MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, Wynn, Palms and SAHARA all prohibit it on property.
Where smoking is allowed in Las Vegas
Nevada’s Clean Indoor Air Act (NRS 202.2483) bans smoking in most indoor workplaces but carves out casinos. In practice:
- Not allowed: restaurants (all indoor areas), malls and retail stores, grocery stores, movie theaters, video arcades, child care facilities and government buildings.
- Allowed: casino areas where minors may not loiter, 21+ stand-alone bars and taverns, strip clubs, retail tobacco stores and private residences. Licensed cannabis consumption lounges are exempt too.
- Hotel rooms: each hotel sets its own rules, and the penalties for smoking in a non-smoking room range from a $250 cleaning fee at M Resort to $1,000 + tax at Trump International and up to $1,500 at Wynn and Four Seasons.
Local governments can adopt stricter rules than the state’s.
How to avoid cigarette smoke in Las Vegas
- Sleep casino-free, gamble smoke-free. Stay at a non-gaming hotel or Park MGM, and if you play, use Park MGM, Palms’ enclosed room or Planet Hollywood’s non-smoking slots.
- Use a separate entrance. Four Seasons has its own entrance and elevators within Mandalay Bay, The Signature has its own valet entrance on Harmon Avenue, and The Reserve has its own lobby inside smoke-free Park MGM.
- Ask about floors. At resorts with smoking rooms or floors (Wynn, Encore, Treasure Island, The STRAT, Harrah’s, Horseshoe), request a non-smoking floor when you book.
- Choose the pool carefully. Palms, Treasure Island and MGM Grand ban smoking on their pool decks; Wynn allows it in patio and pool areas.
- Eat and shop freely. State law keeps restaurants and stores smoke-free, even inside resorts.
- Plan for kids and asthma. Under-21s can’t loiter in gaming areas under Nevada law, and a casino-free hotel removes the walk through a casino entirely. Vdara and The Signature have kitchenettes, and Four Seasons and W Las Vegas guests can use Mandalay Bay Beach. See family-friendly Las Vegas hotels for more.
Smoke-free options downtown and off the Strip
No downtown casino is confirmed smoke-free. Golden Nugget and Downtown Grand keep their rooms non-smoking but allow smoking in the casino, Plaza mixes Deluxe Smoking rooms with its Smoke Free Slots section, and Hotel Apache, above Binion’s, describes itself as a non-smoking hotel, though Binion’s doesn’t publish its casino policy. Best Western Plus Casino Royale, a small hotel with a casino on the center Strip, says all 152 of its rooms are non-smoking.
For a fully smoke-free stay off the Strip, Trump International and Ahern Hotel are the casino-free picks above. NerdWallet also reports that the Courtyard by Marriott Las Vegas Stadium Area, near Allegiant Stadium, is smoke-free throughout and charges no resort fee.
How to choose a non-smoking hotel in Las Vegas
- If you gamble: Park MGM, full stop. No other Strip resort has a smoke-free casino floor, though Palms off the Strip has the next-largest smoke-free gaming room.
- If you don’t gamble: pick a casino-free hotel by location. Vdara and Waldorf Astoria put you mid-Strip; Four Seasons and W Las Vegas trade location for Mandalay Bay Beach; The Signature suits longer stays.
- If fees decide it: Ahern charges no resort fee or parking fee, and Trump’s $39 + tax fee with free valet beats the $50 to $55 + tax at the Strip options.
- If it’s a romantic trip: Waldorf Astoria or The Reserve. More ideas in romantic Las Vegas hotels.

FAQ
Which Las Vegas hotels are completely smoke-free?
Park MGM is the only smoke-free casino resort on the Strip, and The Reserve hotel sits inside it. Casino-free hotels are smoke-free too: Vdara, Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, The Signature at MGM Grand and W Las Vegas on the Strip, plus Trump International and Ahern Hotel off it. Even at Park MGM, smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas.
Is Park MGM still smoke-free?
Yes. Park MGM has been smoke-free since it reopened on Sept. 30, 2020, and the Las Vegas Sun described it in August 2026 as “the fully nonsmoking Park MGM,” with the largest smoke-free casino space in the city. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
Are there non-smoking casinos in Las Vegas?
One full one, at Park MGM. Beyond it, look for walled-off sections: Palms’ 7,300-square-foot enclosed non-smoking gaming room, which opened in August 2026, Planet Hollywood’s non-smoking slot area and Plaza’s Smoke Free Slots downtown. Most other casinos allow smoking, as Nevada law permits in gaming areas closed to minors.
Can you smoke in Las Vegas hotel rooms?
Usually not. Many resorts sell only non-smoking rooms and charge cleaning fees from $250 to $1,500 if you smoke. A few still have smoking rooms or floors, including Caesars Palace, Harrah’s, Horseshoe, Wynn, Encore, Treasure Island, The STRAT and Plaza. Cannabis is banned on property at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, Wynn, Palms and SAHARA.
Is the Venetian smoke-free?
No. All of The Venetian’s and The Palazzo’s suites are non-smoking, with a $500 + tax fee if someone smokes in one, but smoking is allowed on the casino floor. If you need a smoke-free casino, Park MGM is the only full one on the Strip.
Is Bellagio smoke-free?
No. Bellagio’s casino allows smoking, and guest reviews regularly mention cigarette smoke in the casino and common areas. Vdara, connected to Bellagio by an interior walkway and sharing its stop on the free ARIA Express tram, is the casino-free, smoke-free alternative.
Before you pay, confirm the smoking policy and the total price, resort fee included.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
