Choosing among hotels near the Las Vegas Convention Center starts with your badge, not the street address. The LVCC sits at 3150 Paradise Road, near the north end of the Strip, with four hall buildings on a 200-acre campus. The LVCVA, which owns and runs it, says the walk from the West Hall to the North or Central halls can take up to 25 minutes, while the free campus Vegas Loop covers it in about 2. So the hotels worth booking are across from your hall, on the Monorail line or at a Loop station.

Quick answer

It depends on your hall. No hotel we found is attached to the Las Vegas Convention Center, but the Las Vegas Marriott is “steps away from the West Hall,” the Renaissance sits just south of the campus by the South Hall, and Westgate, a 7-minute walk away, has its own Monorail and Vegas Loop stations. Five resorts link to the halls by the Loop.

Courtyard and SpringHill Suites, both across from the convention center, charge no resort fee. For CES 2027 (Jan. 6–9), book through onPeak, CES’s only official housing agent.

Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.

The Loop’s booking form doesn’t sell rides between Fontainebleau and the LVCC’s Central Plaza station, so book to the West, Central, South or Riviera station instead; rides to or from Fontainebleau cost $7 (as of Oct. 13, 2026). News 3 reported that the service launched free for hotel guests, so ask at check-in. Our Fontainebleau Las Vegas review has the rest.

Watch out for: a resort fee reported at $55 plus tax (as of October 2026) and charges for extras guests expect free, such as water and pool loungers.

Getting to the Las Vegas Convention Center

Is the Vegas Loop free at the convention center?

Yes, within the campus. The LVCC’s Vegas Loop runs Teslas through about 2 miles of tunnels between five campus stations (West, Central, Central Plaza, South and Riviera), and trips between them are free, according to the LVCVA’s Loop page. The LVCVA owns it and The Boring Company operates it. Off campus, it serves Resorts World, Encore, Westgate, Fontainebleau and SAHARA; our Vegas Loop guide covers the wider network.

Rides between the campus and the hotel stations need a ticket, and the vegasloop.com booking form now shows the price (as of Oct. 13, 2026):

Loop rideSingle fare
LVCC to Resorts World, Westgate or Encore$4.75
LVCC to Fontainebleau$7.00
LVCC to SAHARA$7.50
LVCC to Harry Reid Airport (limited availability)$12.00

Hotel stations ran 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily in October, while the campus stations open only on convention days, with event hours. A Visit Las Vegas map FAQ still describes the Resorts World and Westgate stations as free, and Fontainebleau’s rides launched free for guests, so ask your hotel before you buy.

Monorail: Boingo Station at the Las Vegas Convention Center

The Monorail’s convention center stop sits above East Desert Inn Road at Paradise Road, and its bridge leads to the North and Central halls on one side and the South Hall on the other. During large conventions, the Monorail says, trains come every 4 to 5 minutes and reach the convention center in no more than 10 minutes from anywhere on the line, which runs from MGM Grand past Horseshoe, Flamingo and The LINQ to Westgate and SAHARA. Fares and hours are in our Las Vegas Monorail guide.

Driving and parking

The LVCC lists parking for more than 5,000 vehicles. Its July 2026 facility guide, written for show organizers, puts event parking at $15 a space with in-and-out privileges, and overnight parking is prohibited. During CES there’s no public parking at the LVCC at all.

If you’re driving in, SAHARA (self and valet), Wynn and Encore (registered guests) and Hilton Grand Vacations Club Paradise (garage) park free, while the Paradise Road chains charge $18 to $25 a day (as of October 2026). Our guide to Las Vegas parking fees compares the rest.

From the airport to the convention center

Harry Reid International Airport is about 3.5 miles from the LVCC, per the LVCVA. The convention center is in the taxi zone sheet’s top zone, a flat $30.25 from the airport plus 3% tax, and $3 more if you pay by card (as of October 2026). RTC Route 108 leaves Terminal 1’s Zero Level and stops at Paradise Road and Desert Inn, by the Monorail’s convention center station, for $4 or less. The Vegas Loop also sells airport rides to the LVCC stations at $12, but airport service has limited availability and is set day by day. Our guide to getting from the airport has pickup spots and the fare math.

CES 2027 hotels: official housing, shuttles and timing

CES 2027 runs Wednesday through Saturday, Jan. 6–9, 2027, across 12 official venues in three campuses: the LVCC Campus, the Venetian Campus and the C Space Campus at ARIA. Media days are Jan. 4–5 at Mandalay Bay.

  • Book through onPeak. CES calls onPeak “the only official housing agent for CES 2027.” It secures rooms at selected hotels, says rates rise as January approaches and some CES hotels sell out quickly, and warns about resellers and scammers posing as official vendors. Individual bookings cover up to 9 rooms; 10 or more a night count as a group block. Start on the CES hotels page.
  • Pick a shuttle hotel. Free shuttles run from select official CES hotels to the LVCC and the Venetian Expo, Tuesday, Jan. 5, through Saturday, Jan. 9. The Tech Express (Route 9) links the LVCC’s Central Plaza with the Venetian Expo, and the C Space Shuttle (Route 7) runs to ARIA Wednesday to Friday.
  • Ride the Monorail on your badge. Discounted passes are sold through CES registration, and the badge then works as your ticket. The Monorail doesn’t serve the Venetian Expo.
  • Know the curb rules. Passenger pickup and drop-off at the LVCC are only at the S2, C5 and West Hall entrances.

On a leisure trip with flexible dates, skip CES week; our guide to the cheapest time to visit Las Vegas flags the other expensive weeks.

SEMA, Cowboy Christmas and other big LVCC shows

The LVCVA expected about 48 trade shows and 1.23 million trade-show attendees at the LVCC in 2026. The SEMA Show, a trade-only event, runs Nov. 3–6, 2026, and the Loop’s calendar shows extended campus hours those days. In December, the South Halls host Cowboy Christmas, the National Finals Rodeo’s free gift show (Dec. 3–12, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily), so see our NFR hotels guide for rodeo week. CONEXPO-CON/AGG returns March 13–17, 2029.

Other Las Vegas convention venues: Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay and CAESARS FORUM

Not every big show is at the LVCC:

  • The Venetian Expo is part of The Venetian Resort, which shares the complex with The Palazzo, and is getting a $188 million refresh in stages. It sits about 1 mile from the LVCC as the crow flies (our calculation from published coordinates), and the Monorail lists Harrah’s & The LINQ as its stop for the Expo. Our guide to hotels near the Venetian Expo covers the closest rooms.
  • Mandalay Bay Convention Center has 2.1 million gross square feet of meeting and exhibit space on the Mandalay Bay property; MGM calls it the fifth-largest convention center in the U.S. W Las Vegas and the Four Seasons share the campus, and The Shoppes at Mandalay Place link Mandalay Bay to Luxor. See our picks for hotels near Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
  • CAESARS FORUM connects to Harrah’s by an indoor second-floor skybridge; Harrah’s calls itself the only Caesars Las Vegas hotel with a direct skybridge there. Caesars also describes direct access from The LINQ Hotel.

Where to stay near the convention center on a budget

Near the halls, the easiest saving is the resort fee. Courtyard, SpringHill Suites and Embassy Suites say they charge none, and Hampton Inn & Suites lists none on its Hilton page (as of October 2026). Several include breakfast:

  • SpringHill Suites: all suites, free breakfast and a rooftop pool with city views that include the Sphere; 21+ check-in, no pets.
  • Residence Inn: suites with full kitchens, free hot breakfast and pets welcome. We couldn’t confirm its fee status, so check when booking.
  • Hampton Inn & Suites: free hot breakfast, 100% non-smoking; Home2 Suites shares the building.
  • Embassy Suites (3600 Paradise Road): free breakfast, an evening reception, an indoor pool and a free hourly shuttle to the convention center, the Monorail and Fashion Show, 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. (times subject to change).
  • Hilton Grand Vacations Club Paradise: free garage parking, but a daily resort charge reported at about $25 plus tax (as of October 2026).
