Privacy Policy
Last updated
This Privacy Policy explains what information Hotel Tip Las Vegas (“we”, “us”) collects when you use hoteltiplasvegas.com, why we collect it and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum: you can read the entire site without creating an account or giving us any personal information.
Information we collect
When you contact us. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you submit. We use this only to read and answer your message. The message is delivered to our email inbox; it is not published and is not added to a mailing list.
Technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. This data is used to deliver the site securely, prevent abuse and fix errors.
Cookies. We don’t use advertising cookies. WordPress, the software that runs this site, sets cookies only for logged-in site administrators. At the time of this update we do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts. If that changes (for example, if we add Google Analytics to understand which guides are most useful), we will update this policy before doing so and describe the tool and your choices here.
Affiliate links and Booking.com
Some links on this site take you to Booking.com. When you follow one of those links, Booking.com may place cookies or use similar technologies on its own website to recognize that you arrived from Hotel Tip Las Vegas, so it can credit a booking to us. That processing is carried out by Booking.com under its own privacy and cookie statement, which you can read on Booking.com. We receive reports about commissions from our affiliate partners; these reports do not tell us your name or contact details.
How we use information
- to respond to your messages and requests;
- to operate, secure and improve the website;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, such as our web hosting provider and email provider, and only as needed for them to provide their services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
Children
This website is intended for adults planning travel. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
