Las Vegas hotels with a balcony are harder to find than the skyline suggests. At the big resorts, outdoor space comes with specific room categories rather than the hotel as a whole, so the trick is booking the right one by name. Every room type below has a balcony, terrace or patio confirmed in official descriptions or our research as of October 2026.
Quick answer
Yes, a few Las Vegas hotels have balconies, but only in specific room types. The best value is a Versailles Balcony room at Paris Las Vegas (38 rooms with a 55-square-foot Strip-view balcony). The Cosmopolitan sells terrace rooms by name, including fountain-view versions, and The Signature at MGM Grand has balcony suites with kitchenettes and whirlpool tubs in a casino-free tower. For a big terrace, look at MGM Grand’s Terrace Suite or Nobu’s two-story penthouses.

1. Paris Las Vegas: Best Value Balcony on the Strip

Best Value Balcony on the Strip
Paris Las Vegas
- Eiffel Tower replica
- Rooftop pool
- Balcony rooms (Versailles Tower)
- Monorail station
The Versailles Balcony Room (one king or two queens) adds a 55-square-foot balcony with Strip views to a room of about 445 square feet. There are only 38 of them, two of them ADA rooms, and the hotel calls them one of the few standard balcony options on the Strip.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
This is the only standard room category on this list with a balcony at a mid-range price level. The Versailles Tower, joined to Paris in 2023–24 after a renovation of more than $100 million, has larger rooms than the main tower, with a sofa, a walk-in shower and a 55-inch TV. Our Paris Las Vegas review compares the two towers.
Watch out for: limited inventory, so book early, and a check-in at the Horseshoe front desk for Versailles guests. The pool is a SkyBridge walk away, and the resort fee is $54.95 plus tax a night (as of October 2026).
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
2. The Cosmopolitan: Best Fountain-View Terrace

Best Fountain-View Terrace
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
- Terrace rooms
- Marquee Dayclub
- The Chandelier bar
- MICHELIN-recognized dining
Many rooms have private terraces, a legacy of the towers’ original condo plans. The official Terrace Studio description lists 730 square feet, a king bed, a full-size bubbler tub and sliding glass doors onto an oversized private terrace.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Book a category with “Terrace” in its name: the official room list includes the Terrace Studio, Terrace One Bedroom, Terrace Suite and Wraparound Terrace Suite, plus fountain-view versions that face Bellagio’s lake. Don’t assume a City Room or City Studio comes with outdoor space. The Chelsea Tower’s two-story Lanai Suites are the other unusual layout. The Terrace Studio sleeps up to three, per the hotel. Read our Cosmopolitan review for tower and view details.
Watch out for: guest reports that fountain-view and floor requests aren’t always honored, so book the view in the category name. Lower floors can hear the Boulevard Pool, and the resort fee is $55 plus tax a night (as of October 2026).
3. The Signature at MGM Grand: Best Balcony Suite With a Kitchen
Best Balcony Suite With a Kitchen
The Signature at MGM Grand
- No casino
- Smoke-free
- Kitchenettes
- Three private pools
A non-gaming, smoke-free all-suite hotel behind MGM Grand with four balcony categories: the 550-square-foot Deluxe Balcony Suite and Deluxe Balcony Strip View Suite, and the 900-square-foot One-Bedroom Balcony Suite and One Bedroom Balcony Strip View Suite.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Every suite has a kitchenette and a whirlpool tub, and the one-bedroom versions add a full kitchen, which makes this the most practical balcony for families and longer stays. Guests praise the clean, spacious suites, the balconies and the quiet, casino-free atmosphere. Valet parking is free for one car, and the resort fee is $50 plus tax a night (as of October 2026). See more suites for kids in our family hotels guide.
Watch out for: decor that some guests find dated, slow valet at busy times and a long walk on moving walkways to MGM Grand and the Strip. The hotel is completely non-smoking, with a $500 cleaning fee if anyone smokes, and you must be 21 to check in.
4. MGM Grand: Best Big Terrace Suite

Best Big Terrace Suite
MGM Grand Las Vegas
- 6.5-acre pools & lazy river
- KÀ by Cirque du Soleil
- Monorail station
- Arena events & comedy
The MGM Terrace Suite is a two-story, 1,300-square-foot suite with an 800-square-foot terrace, inside a resort with a 6.5-acre pool complex and its own monorail station.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
The terrace alone is nearly twice the size of a standard MGM King room (446 square feet), and the suite comes with MGM Grand’s full set of restaurants, shows and pools downstairs.
Watch out for: a non-smoking policy with cleaning fees of $500 for a room and $1,000 for a suite if anyone smokes, plus a $50-plus-tax resort fee and $20-a-day self-parking for hotel guests (as of October 2026). Guests mention long walks through the property.
5. Nobu Hotel: Best Penthouse Terrace

Best Penthouse Terrace
Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace
- Boutique tower
- Nobu restaurant
- Apollo Pool access
- Caesars Palace amenities
Nobu Penthouses are two-story suites of 2,200 to 4,350 square feet with a terrace, in a 182-room boutique tower inside Caesars Palace.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Penthouse bookings include butler service and Escalade airport transfers, and Nobu guests get their own check-in, priority seating at the Nobu restaurant and the Apollo Pool, reserved for Nobu and Seven Stars guests. The 10,300-square-foot, three-bedroom Nobu Villa sits on the roof.
Watch out for: a $54.95-plus-tax resort fee (as of October 2026) and parking rates that Caesars doesn’t publish. Only the penthouses are described with a terrace.
6. Wynn Las Vegas: Best Private Villa Patio

Best Private Villa Patio
Wynn Las Vegas
- Free guest self-parking
- Five-Star Tower Suites & spa
- Wynn Golf Club
- Lake of Dreams
Wynn’s Fairway Villas, listed with the Forbes Five-Star Wynn Tower Suites, come in one- and two-bedroom versions of 2,411 and 3,224 square feet, with butler service and a private patio or balcony.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Self-parking is free for hotel guests, and The Spa at Wynn holds a Forbes Five-Star rating. Our Wynn review covers the rest of the resort.
Watch out for: Wynn’s smoking policy, which allows smoking in patio and pool areas and on designated hotel floors, so ask about your villa’s surroundings if smoke bothers you.
7. Caesars Palace: Biggest Rooftop Terrace

Biggest Rooftop Terrace
Caesars Palace
- Garden of the Gods pools
- The Colosseum
- Forum Shops
- Celebrity-chef dining
The two Colosseum Presidential Villas (8,060 and 8,370 square feet) each have a 1,700-square-foot rooftop terrace with an outdoor bar and dining area, plus a private elevator and butler service.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Caesars unveiled the two all-new villas in January 2026 and says they’re available for the public to book; the two can connect into more than 19,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, according to the official announcement. See our Caesars Palace review for the rest of the resort.
Watch out for: the new Octavius Sky Villas, which the same announcement doesn’t describe with a terrace, so don’t assume every villa has one.
8. Plaza: Best Downtown Patio Room

Best Downtown Patio Room
Plaza Hotel & Casino
- Rooftop pool & pickleball
- Free guest self-parking
- Fremont Street views
- Oscar's Steakhouse
The Pool Patio Room (about 325 square feet inside) has a private covered patio that leads to the pool area, plus a mini refrigerator, a coffee maker and a walk-in shower.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
It’s a patio, not a high balcony, but it’s the only downtown outdoor-space room we could confirm. The pool deck is a heated rooftop pool with a hot tub and pickleball courts, open to registered hotel guests only, and guests park free. The Plaza’s rooms page tells you to call Casino Services for rates and availability rather than offering online booking for this category.
Watch out for: a $39-plus-tax resort fee (as of October 2026) and limited booking channels.
Just off the Strip: The Platinum Hotel
The Platinum Hotel & Spa, a non-gaming, non-smoking all-suite hotel at 211 E. Flamingo Road, says every one of its one- and two-bedroom suites has a private walk-out balcony. Suites run 910 to 2,100 square feet with a living room and full kitchen, self-parking is free, and the hotel places itself a block off the Strip and three blocks from Sphere. It isn’t in our booking cards, so check rates on The Platinum’s official site.
How to choose a balcony room in Las Vegas
- For a Strip view: Paris’s Versailles Balcony Room or a Strip View balcony suite at The Signature.
- For the fountains: a fountain-view terrace category at The Cosmopolitan.
- For a tub and a balcony: The Signature puts a whirlpool tub in every suite, and the Cosmopolitan’s Terrace Studio has a full-size tub. The tubs are indoors.
- For a lower price: Paris (mid-range) or Plaza (budget). The Signature is upscale, and the penthouses and villas are top-tier suites.
- For no casino or smoke: The Signature or The Platinum.
- For a celebration: Nobu’s penthouses or a Wynn Fairway Villa; see our romantic hotels in Las Vegas and luxury hotels in Las Vegas.
Do Las Vegas hotels have balconies?
Some do, but far fewer than you’d expect. Paris’s own FAQ calls its 38 Versailles Balcony rooms one of the few standard balcony options on the Strip. Elsewhere, outdoor space comes with particular studios, suites, penthouses and villas, so a hotel can have terraces without your room getting one. Other names circulate on older lists; we couldn’t confirm a bookable balcony category for Crockfords on its official page, for example, and the Tropicana and The Mirage, both often cited, closed in 2024.
How to book the right room type
- Search the exact category name, such as “Versailles Balcony,” “Terrace Studio” or “Deluxe Balcony Suite.” A Strip-view room isn’t a balcony room.
- Read the room description for the words balcony, terrace or patio before you pay. A request at check-in is only a request.
- Book early. Paris has only 38 balcony rooms, and Caesars has just two Presidential Villas.
- Check occupancy. The Cosmopolitan’s Terrace Studio sleeps three, and The Signature’s suites cap at four.
- Add up the total. Resort fees here run from $39 to $55 a night plus tax (as of October 2026), and Clark County’s 13.38% room tax applies to them on the Strip.
FAQ
Do all rooms at the Cosmopolitan have balconies?
No. Many rooms have private terraces, but you get one only by booking a category sold with it, such as the Terrace Studio, Terrace One Bedroom, Terrace Suite or Wraparound Terrace Suite. Don’t assume a City Room or City Studio includes outdoor space.
Which hotel has a balcony with a fountain view?
The Cosmopolitan, in its fountain-view terrace categories, which face Bellagio’s lake next door. Book the fountain view in the room name, because guests report that view requests at check-in aren’t always honored. Paris’s Versailles Balcony rooms are sold with Strip views, not fountain views.
Are there cheap Las Vegas hotels with balconies?
Not many. Among the hotels we could verify, Paris Las Vegas, at a mid-range price level, is the most affordable Strip option with a true balcony room, and Plaza’s Pool Patio Room downtown offers a covered patio at a budget hotel. Prices vary according to travel dates and availability, so compare the balcony category with the hotel’s standard rooms.
Which Las Vegas hotels have a balcony with a hot tub?
None in our research puts a hot tub on the balcony itself. The Signature at MGM Grand comes closest, pairing balcony suites with an indoor whirlpool tub, and the Cosmopolitan’s Terrace Studio pairs its terrace with a full-size bubbler tub.
Can you smoke on a Las Vegas hotel balcony?
Assume no unless the hotel says otherwise. The Signature is completely non-smoking, Paris limits smoking to designated casino areas, and MGM Grand’s rooms are non-smoking, with cleaning fees of $500 for a room and $1,000 for a suite. Wynn is the exception that allows smoking in patio and pool areas, so ask before you book.
Can you open the windows in Las Vegas hotel rooms?
Don’t count on it. None of the standard rooms in our research advertises windows that open, and Luxor guests, for one, complain of stuffy air with no opening windows. A balcony, terrace or patio category is the reliable way to get fresh air in your room.
