Las Vegas hotels with the best pools give you a full day out without leaving the property: a wave pool, a lazy river, swim-up blackjack or a 21+ party with a DJ. The catch is the calendar. Caesars says its pool season typically runs March to October, and big complexes trim hours or close sections as the weather cools, so this ranking notes what was open in early October 2026 and which pools keep going through winter.
Quick answer
Mandalay Bay has the best pool complex in Las Vegas: an 11-acre beach with real sand, a wave pool and a lazy river, plus two 21+ pool clubs. Caesars Palace is the pick for grown-up glamour, with seven pools, swim-up blackjack and the 21+ Venus Pool, and MGM Grand adds a lazy river in a 6.5-acre complex. For winter, Circa‘s 21+ Stadium Swim runs year-round, and Downtown Grand keeps its rooftop pool open all year.

Mandalay Bay Beach covers 11 acres with 2,700 tons of real sand, a wave pool, a lazy river and lagoons. The campus adds two 21+ pool clubs: Moorea Beach Club and the sports-themed Tailgate Beach Club.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Families get the beach, and adults get their own corners. The wave pool has a 48-inch minimum height, lazy-river tubes must be circular, and Mandalay Beach and Moorea together rent 107 cabanas, daybeds and other units, with free seating for hotel guests as available. Tailgate Beach Club opened in May 2026 with three heated pools, 145 feet of LED screens and a poolside sportsbook; it runs year-round (closed Tuesday and Wednesday), and hotel guests get in free with a room key. W Las Vegas and Four Seasons guests can use the beach too.
Watch out for: shrinking fall hours (in early October 2026 the East Lagoon opened only on weekends, and Moorea closes midweek) and unclear non-guest access, since Mandalay Bay’s and W Las Vegas’s FAQs disagree. Outside food, coolers, speakers and umbrellas are banned.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
2. Caesars Palace: Best for Grown-Up Glamour

Best for Grown-Up Glamour
Caesars Palace
- Garden of the Gods pools
- The Colosseum

OMNIA Dayclub opened for the 2026 season with two central pools and VIP plunge pools, running Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The hotel page names Neptune, the largest pool, as its heated pool for winter swimming. More in our Caesars Palace review.
Watch out for: conflicting official information on hours, winter swimming (one FAQ answer names Venus as the year-round pool) and non-guest access, so confirm before you go. The FAQ puts the water at about 72°F, and floats and pool toys aren’t allowed.
3. MGM Grand: Best Lazy River

Best Lazy River
MGM Grand Las Vegas
- 6.5-acre pools & lazy river
- KÀ by Cirque du Soleil
- Monorail station
- Arena events & comedy

Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
In early October 2026 the complex ran 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the lazy river from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Splash Pool already closed for the season. Cabanas hold up to 10 people and come with four pool tubes, and river daybeds take up to eight. Palm Tree Beach Club, the TAO Group dayclub that replaced Wet Republic, books DJs and Beach Villas with private dipping pools; MGM’s page doesn’t state its age policy. See our MGM Grand review.
Watch out for: an 18% automatic gratuity on poolside food and drink, and mixed messages on floats: the pool page allows only circular tubes, while the FAQ welcomes personal rafts.
4. Resorts World Las Vegas: Best Modern Pool Deck

Best Modern Pool Deck
Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World
- 5.5-acre pool complex
- Hilton Honors
- Vegas Loop station

Resorts World sells visitor day passes, and Nevada residents swim free Monday to Thursday with valid ID. The resort describes access as year-round, weather permitting, though some pools may close in the off-season.
Watch out for: fees. The resort fee is $55 plus tax and self-parking $21 a day (as of October 2026), and guests complain about cabana minimums.
5. Circa: Best Year-Round Party Pool

Best Year-Round Party Pool
Circa Resort & Casino

It holds up to 4,000 people, with 200 first-come chaise lounges plus booths, daybeds, cabanas and water couches. The official page showed a 94-degree water temperature on Oct. 5, 2026, and Circa runs it as a year-round venue. Guests at sister hotels The D and Golden Gate also get free general admission, and SlotZilla sells a “Zip to Dip” bundle with Stadium Swim. Check the Stadium Swim page for game-day events; our downtown hotels guide covers the neighbors.
Watch out for: a strict 21+ door, a resort fee reported at $50 plus tax and $25 a day for self-parking (as of October 2026), and guest complaints about bass from the pool.
6. Wynn Las Vegas: Best Luxury Pool Day

Best Luxury Pool Day
Wynn Las Vegas

- Wynn Golf Club
- Lake of Dreams
A garden-style resort pool, a private pool for Wynn Tower Suites guests and access to Encore’s pools next door, including the 21+ Encore Beach Club.

Encore’s European Pool and Jacuzzi were listed as closed on Oct. 5, 2026.
Watch out for: extra charges for pool umbrellas and seating, which guests mention, and loud music at the pool. Self-parking is included in the resort fee.
7. Bellagio: Best Quiet Pool for Couples

Best Quiet Pool for Couples
Bellagio Las Vegas
- Fountain-view rooms
- Conservatory & gardens
- Five-pool courtyard
- "O" by Cirque du Soleil
A Mediterranean-style courtyard with five pools and four whirlpools on about two acres, plus Cypress Pool, an adults-only, reservation-only retreat in a secluded garden.

Bellagio’s pools are for lounging, not partying, with COMO Poolside Cafe & Bar serving Mediterranean-inspired food. Pool use is free for hotel guests, and cabanas start at about $450 a day depending on the day and season, according to California Family Travel (2026). The same blog says Bellagio’s winter season, roughly October to March, brings reduced pool availability. Our Bellagio review covers the rest of the resort, and our romantic hotels guide lists more couples’ picks.
Watch out for: limited official detail, since MGM’s official pool page couldn’t be checked for this update, so confirm cabana prices and winter hours directly.

Best Guest-Only Pool Decks
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
- All-suite rooms
- Indoor bridge to Sphere
- Two guest-only pool decks
- World of Hyatt hotel

The Venetian Pool Deck has six standard cabanas and four with plunge pools, and the Palazzo Pool Deck has seasonally heated water and newly renovated grand cabanas; both posted 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Misters run from May 28 to Sept. 1. TAO Beach Dayclub, a separate 47,000-square-foot venue, is strictly 21+ with a dress code that bans athleisure, and it operates through the summer season.
Watch out for: the main decks are for hotel guests only, and neither has an adults-only area.
9. Fontainebleau: Best New Pool Complex

Best New Pool Complex
Fontainebleau Las Vegas
- Opened December 2023
- Seven pools incl. LIV Beach
- LIV Nightclub
- Vegas Loop station
The north Strip’s newest major resort, opened in December 2023, has seven pools across a six-acre complex, including the 35,000-square-foot LIV Beach dayclub, according to Wikipedia.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Guests single out the seven pools and the Riviera-style deck. In winter 2024–25, one pool became the Strip’s largest ice-skating rink, per Wikipedia, and the resort’s site still lists an Oasis Ice Rink alongside pages for Sun Club, LIV Beach and the Oasis Cinema Club. Our Fontainebleau review has the full picture.
Watch out for: gaps in what we could verify, since the official site couldn’t be checked for this update: hours, LIV Beach’s age policy and winter plans all need a call. Guests also complain about high minimums for pool loungers.
10. Flamingo: Best Value Pool With Two Moods

Best Value Pool With Two Moods
Flamingo Las Vegas
- Free Wildlife Habitat
- All-ages Family Pool
- 21+ GO Pool
- Center-Strip location
A 15-acre pool complex and wildlife habitat with the all-ages Family Pool and the 21+ GO Pool, both heated to 80 degrees.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
GO Pool debuted in 2025 as an all-new, $20 million pool party venue, with a swim-up bar, daily DJs and free general admission for anyone 21 or older with ID, except during events. The Family Pool has waterfalls, a lagoon and a waterslide (48-inch minimum, Friday to Sunday only), and you reach it through the free Wildlife Habitat. Both open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and were running by Feb. 27 in 2026.
Watch out for: an official FAQ that’s inconsistent on whether the Family Pool is for hotel guests only.
11. Downtown Grand: Best Year-Round Rooftop Pool

Best Year-Round Rooftop Pool
Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino
- Year-round rooftop pool
- Free guest self-parking
- One block from Fremont
- No fee for NV residents
The Citrus Grand Pool Deck is a 35,000-plus-square-foot rooftop deck a block off Fremont Street that, according to the hotel, stays open all year while many downtown pools close seasonally.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
The deck posts 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. hours, with cabanas, lawn games and a daybed-and-lounger package for up to four from $150. Hotel guests park free, and Nevada residents pay no resort fee; everyone else pays $39 plus tax a night (as of October 2026). Details are on the hotel’s pool page.
Watch out for: a minimum check-in age of 21 and guest reports of night-time noise.
Las Vegas pools open in winter and year-round
Winter afternoons are cool: the average high is 56.9°F in December and 58.5°F in January, according to NOAA’s 1991–2020 normals, so a heated or enclosed pool matters. These are the pools with a stated year-round or winter plan:
| Pool | Hotel | Winter status |
|---|---|---|
| Stadium Swim (21+) | Circa | Year-round, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. |
| Citrus Grand Pool Deck | Downtown Grand | Open all year, per the hotel’s FAQ |
| Hotel pool | Trump International | Year-round; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from November to February |
| Tailgate Beach Club (21+) | Mandalay Bay | Year-round, three heated pools; closed Tuesday and Wednesday |
| Neptune Pool | Caesars Palace | Named on the hotel page as the heated winter pool |
| Venetian and Palazzo decks | The Venetian | Year-round, weather permitting; Palazzo water seasonally heated |
| Marquee Dayclub’s The Dome | The Cosmopolitan | Enclosed deck kept at about 85°F from October |
| Pool complex | Resorts World | Year-round access, weather permitting; some pools may close |
Two caveats. Trump guests have complained that its pool isn’t heated, and Tao Group bills The Dome as the only winter pool party in Las Vegas, but its age policy isn’t stated, so confirm it before you go. Golden Nugget’s pool is heated to 84 degrees and stays open, though The Tank’s shark aquarium and waterslide are closed for repairs, with one report expecting the aquarium back in summer 2027.
Elsewhere, fall brings closures: The Strat’s Swim & Social closes for the season on Oct. 11, 2026, and MGM Grand’s Splash Pool was already shut by early October. If pools drive your dates, compare prices by month in our guide to the cheapest time to visit Las Vegas.
All-ages pools vs. 21+ dayclubs
Kids can’t enter a 21+ dayclub even with a parent, so check which pool your hotel actually lets them use:
| Hotel | All-ages pool | 21+ pool or dayclub |
|---|---|---|
| Mandalay Bay | Mandalay Bay Beach | Moorea Beach Club, Tailgate Beach Club |
| MGM Grand | Grand Pool Complex | Palm Tree Beach Club (age policy not posted) |
| Flamingo | Family Pool | GO Pool |
| Planet Hollywood | North Pool, plus the FlowRider for ages 13+ | South Pool |
| The Venetian | Venetian and Palazzo decks | TAO Beach Dayclub |
| Golden Nugget | Main pool | The Hideout |
| The Strat | Swim & Social, with adult supervision | WET24 Pool & Bar |
| The LINQ | None; Caesars points families to Flamingo | Influence |
| Caesars Palace | Not specified | Venus Pool, OMNIA Dayclub |
| Circa | None | Stadium Swim |
Paris’s Pool à Paris and Harrah’s Olympic-size pool also welcome all ages (at Paris, children under 14 need an adult). For kid-specific picks, see our guide to family-friendly hotels in Las Vegas.
Pool season, day passes and cabana costs
- Season: Caesars opened most of its 2026 pools by Feb. 27, Harrah’s on March 13 and Horseshoe’s Blu Pool on April 1, all weather permitting. Older roundups still praise The Mirage’s pools, but that hotel closed in July 2024.
- Non-guests: policies vary widely. Planet Hollywood’s FAQ says its pool is free for guests and the public, Flamingo’s GO Pool admits anyone 21+ free, MGM Grand’s complex is open to guests of any MGM Resorts hotel, and Resorts World sells day passes. The Venetian’s decks and Plaza’s rooftop are for registered guests, and Treasure Island’s pool admits registered guests and members of its players club. Off-Strip, Green Valley Ranch charges day guests $20 per adult on weekdays and $30 on weekends.
- Cabanas: Treasure Island rents full-day cabanas for up to eight at $180 to $310 plus a food-and-drink minimum, and Plaza charges $175 on weekdays and $275 on weekends, including a beverage minimum (as of October 2026). Bellagio’s start around $450, per California Family Travel.
- Rules: expect bans on outside food, glass and coolers at the big complexes. Golden Nugget also bans spray sunscreen.
How to choose a pool hotel in Las Vegas
- For kids: Mandalay Bay’s beach or MGM Grand’s lazy river; Flamingo is the value pick. Mind the 48-inch rules on the wave pool and Flamingo’s slide.
- For a party: Encore Beach Club, OMNIA, Stadium Swim or Tailgate Beach Club; Flamingo’s GO Pool is the free option.
- For a quiet day: Bellagio, Wynn or the Venetian’s Pool Garden.
- For a winter trip: Circa, Downtown Grand or Tailgate Beach Club, and call ahead anywhere else.
- Off the Strip: Green Valley Ranch’s eight-acre backyard has a sand-bottom, beach-entry pool and free parking.
