The best hotels near the Venetian Expo depend on which building your badge sends you to. The Venetian Expo (the old Sands Expo) at 201 Sands Avenue is attached to The Venetian and The Palazzo. CAESARS FORUM, at 3911 S. Koval Lane, sits directly behind the LINQ Promenade, next to the High Roller. The two halls are only about 0.2 mile apart as the crow flies, and big shows such as SHOT Show link them with a show-run sky bridge, but you’ll still spend real time walking through casinos and corridors, so book the hotel attached to the hall where you’ll spend most of your days.
Quick answer
For the Venetian Expo, stay at The Venetian or The Palazzo. They’re under the same roof, and one show organizer says to allow 10 minutes from either hotel entrance. For CAESARS FORUM, book Harrah’s or The LINQ: both connect by skybridge, and Harrah’s has the direct second-floor link. Flamingo and Horseshoe are the budget picks, each “less than a 10-minute walk” from the Forum, per SHOT Show. For AWS re:Invent (Nov. 30–Dec. 4, 2026), discounted show blocks close Nov. 5.
Venetian Expo or CAESARS FORUM: which building is your show in?
The Venetian Expo opened in 1990 as the Sands Expo and was renamed in 2021. The Venetian now calls the whole facility The Venetian Convention & Expo Center, with “over 300 meeting rooms.” The main exhibit halls, A through D, are on Level 2, and Hall G is on Level 1. The resort is finishing a $188 million refresh of the space in stages. It’s also the building you cross on the indoor bridge to Sphere, so concert nights add crowds; our guide to hotels near the Sphere covers that side.
CAESARS FORUM is Caesars’ conference center, opened in 2020 on Koval Lane behind the LINQ Promenade. You reach it from Caesars’ center-Strip hotels by bridge, which is why Harrah’s and The LINQ are the default picks for Forum-only events.
Are they connected? Only during certain shows. RE+ describes a “custom-built pedestrian sky bridge (during conventions)” between CAESARS FORUM and the Venetian Expo, and SHOT Show calls it the SHOT Bridge, reached from the Venetian Expo’s Level 2 exhibit floor. Don’t count on it outside multi-venue shows; AWS hasn’t said whether re:Invent 2026 uses it. Our guide to connected hotels in Las Vegas maps the Strip’s permanent indoor links.
Is CAESARS FORUM connected to Caesars Palace? None of the sources we checked describes a direct link. Caesars Palace is across Las Vegas Boulevard from The LINQ, while the Forum sits behind The LINQ on the east side, so you’d walk through The LINQ or Harrah’s and cross the Strip.

Fees and parking are as of October 2026, and prices vary according to travel dates and availability. Hotels rarely publish walk times to these halls, so the table below uses the venue’s, the hotel’s or the show organizer’s own words.

1. The Venetian: Best for the Venetian Expo

Best for the Venetian Expo
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
- All-suite rooms
- Indoor bridge to Sphere
- Two guest-only pool decks
- World of Hyatt hotel
Every standard room is a suite, and the Expo is in the same complex. RE+ puts it plainly: “The Venetian and The Palazzo are located under the same roof as the Venetian Expo and Convention Center (formerly Sands Expo) and are all connected.”
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
The organizer’s advice is to “allow 10 minutes to walk from the entrance of either The Venetian or The Palazzo” to the Expo. Business travelers should know two booking rules. To earn World of Hyatt points, you must book through Hyatt’s own channels, since bookings made directly with The Venetian don’t earn them. And the free resort fee for top-tier Venetian Rewards members doesn’t apply to convention, trade-show or group bookings unless the room is tied to the member. Our Venetian review covers rooms and towers.
Watch out for: a $55 resort fee plus tax (as of October 2026), and “event parking rates may be in effect” in the garages during shows.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
2. The Palazzo: Best Same-Building Alternative

Best Same-Building Alternative
The Palazzo at The Venetian
- All-suite rooms
- Own pool deck
- Indoor bridge to Sphere
- World of Hyatt hotel
The Palazzo is The Venetian Resort’s second tower, with its own lobby and pool deck and the same all-suite rooms. Show organizers treat both hotels as one campus, with the same “allow 10 minutes” walk to the Expo.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Drivers get a practical edge: organizers send Expo attendees to The Palazzo’s underground garage, entered from Sands Avenue, and the Palazzo Lower Porte Cochère is a rideshare pickup point.
Watch out for: the same $55 resort fee plus tax as The Venetian (as of October 2026), and no Monorail station on the property.
3. Harrah’s: Best for CAESARS FORUM

Best for CAESARS FORUM
Harrah's Las Vegas
- All-ages pool
- Monorail station
- Next to LINQ Promenade
- Skybridge to CAESARS FORUM
Harrah’s calls Caesars Forum Way “an indoor, climate-controlled 2nd-floor promenade” with “ADA-compliant skybridge access from the 2nd floor to CAESARS FORUM.” It also bills itself as “the only Caesars Las Vegas hotel with a direct 2nd-floor skybridge” to the Forum.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
SHOT Show’s lodging advice agrees: “If you choose to stay at the LINQ or Harrah’s, you don’t even have to step outside.” The Harrah’s/The LINQ Monorail station is on the second floor, one stop from the Las Vegas Convention Center, which helps if your week mixes venues. See our Harrah’s Las Vegas review for the towers.
Watch out for: a $49.95 resort fee plus tax (as of October 2026) and a 4 p.m. check-in. Smoking is allowed on the casino floor.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
4. The LINQ Hotel: Best for CAESARS FORUM and the Promenade

Best for CAESARS FORUM and the Promenade
The LINQ Hotel + Experience
- High Roller next door
- LINQ Promenade
- 21+ rooftop pool
- Monorail station
Caesars describes direct access from The LINQ Hotel to CAESARS FORUM, and both SHOT Show and RE+ say The LINQ is accessible to the Forum by skybridge. The hotel shares the second-floor Monorail station with Harrah’s.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Ask about the “District 3” room categories, which Caesars places near CAESARS FORUM and the self-park garage. Rideshare pickup is on the lower level of District 3, at the back of the property, which is handy after a late session. Our LINQ Hotel review has the room details.
Watch out for: a $49.95 resort fee plus tax (as of October 2026). Caesars itself says the hotel is livelier than quiet luxury resorts.
5. Flamingo: Best Budget Pick for CAESARS FORUM

Best Budget Pick for CAESARS FORUM
Flamingo Las Vegas
- Free Wildlife Habitat
- All-ages Family Pool
- 21+ GO Pool
- Center-Strip location
RE+ says a pedestrian bridge connects CAESARS FORUM to the LINQ Promenade and Flamingo, and SHOT Show lists Flamingo as “less than a 10-minute walk” from the Forum. Flamingo’s covered walkway leads to the LINQ Promenade.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Flamingo is the only budget-priced hotel among the eight above, and the Flamingo/Caesars Palace Monorail station is on the east side of the property. For SHOT Show 2026, the organizer listed Flamingo among its lower-priced block hotels within walking distance. Our Flamingo Las Vegas review covers which rooms to book.
Watch out for: a $49.95 resort fee plus tax (as of October 2026), and the last stretch of the walk is on the open-air Promenade.
6. Treasure Island: Best for Drivers and Under-21 re:Invent Attendees

Best for Drivers
Treasure Island (TI)
- Free self & valet parking
- Mystère by Cirque du Soleil
- Heated pool
- Across from The Venetian
TI says it is “connected by pedestrian bridges to Palazzo / The Venetian Resort and Convention Expo,” and its own distance list puts the Venetian Expo at “1.0 block.” Self-parking and valet are free for hotel guests.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
TI matters for one more reason during re:Invent: AWS says you must be at least 21 to reserve at all re:Invent campus hotels “excluding Treasure Island.” TI lists the Monorail at Harrah’s as 0.5 mile away.
Watch out for: a $49.95 resort fee plus tax (as of October 2026), and TI’s SHOT Show block was already sold out when the organizer published its lodging guide for the 2026 show.
7. Horseshoe: Best Value South of the Forum

Best Value South of the Forum
Horseshoe Las Vegas
- Four Corners location
- WSOP Hall of Fame poker room
- Monorail station
- Blu Pool
SHOT Show lists Horseshoe as “less than a 10-minute walk” from CAESARS FORUM. The former Bally’s sits at the Four Corners with large standard rooms and its own Monorail station.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Horseshoe is the pick if you also need the south Strip: the Horseshoe/Paris Monorail station puts MGM Grand, a re:Invent venue, a short ride away. Our Horseshoe Las Vegas review has the details.
Watch out for: a $49.95 resort fee plus tax (as of October 2026), and there’s no covered connection to the Forum in the sources we checked.
8. Wynn and Encore: Best Luxury for re:Invent

Best Luxury for re:Invent
Wynn Las Vegas
- Free guest self-parking
- Five-Star Tower Suites & spa
- Wynn Golf Club
- Lake of Dreams
Wynn and Encore are re:Invent venues themselves, so for many sessions you won’t leave the building. A Clark County pedestrian bridge crosses Sands Avenue from Wynn to The Palazzo, and registered hotel guests park free.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
No official walk time from Wynn to the Expo halls exists, so allow extra time. Encore also has a Vegas Loop station for rides to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Watch out for: a $55 resort fee plus tax at both towers (as of October 2026, per independent trackers; Wynn doesn’t publish the amount).
AWS re:Invent 2026 hotels: where to stay
AWS re:Invent 2026 runs Monday, Nov. 30, through Friday, Dec. 4, 2026. AWS says “the conference takes place across multiple venues including Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian, and Wynn.” The full conference pass is $2,499 (as of October 2026).
- Book through the attendee portal. Discounted rates at “select hotels” open after you register and are “available as inventory allows through November 5, 2026,” when the sleeping-room blocks close. Hotels send confirmations Nov. 5–13, according to the re:Invent FAQ.
- Expect a deposit. The hotel charges a one-night deposit before the event, and cancellation follows each hotel’s own policy. Our guide to Las Vegas hotel deposits explains holds.
- Mind the age rule. You must be 21 to reserve at all campus hotels except Treasure Island; attendees aged 18 to 20 can stay if they check in with someone 21 or older.
- Use the free transport. Shuttles run continuously between venues during conference hours, and badge holders ride the Monorail free. AWS says routes “will be provided in the fall,” so they weren’t posted in early October.
Pick your hotel by where your sessions cluster. For the Venetian, Wynn and Encore end, stay at The Venetian, The Palazzo or Wynn. For CAESARS FORUM and Caesars Palace, stay at Harrah’s or The LINQ. MGM Grand is at the south end of the Strip, so lean on the shuttles or the Monorail.
SHOT Show, CES and JCK: show calendar
| Show | Dates | Where | Official housing |
|---|---|---|---|
| AWS re:Invent 2026 | Nov. 30–Dec. 4, 2026 | CAESARS FORUM, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian, Wynn | Attendee portal; blocks close Nov. 5, 2026 |
| CES 2027 | Jan. 6–9, 2027 | Three campuses, including the Venetian Campus | onPeak only |
| SHOT Show 2027 | Jan. 19–22, 2027 | Venetian Expo + CAESARS FORUM | onPeak and the Venetian/Palazzo block |
| JCK Las Vegas 2027 | June 4–7, 2027 | Venetian Expo | Connections Housing; 2027 room information “available soon” |
SHOT Show 2027 fills both buildings, with the SHOT Bridge linking the Venetian Expo’s Level 2 to the CAESARS FORUM halls. Its 2027 shuttle hotels and reservation deadline haven’t been announced. Last cycle, farther-out block hotels such as SAHARA and Circus Circus had a free shuttle every 25 to 30 minutes on show mornings, and the organizer noted that “unavailable” in onPeak only means the discounted block is sold out; exhibitors release rooms before the December deadline.
JCK‘s housing partner lists rooms at Treasure Island, Bellagio, Resorts World and Fontainebleau, and JCK runs free shuttles from Bellagio, Fontainebleau and Resorts World to the Venetian Expo each show day (schedule “coming soon”). The list may be carried over from 2026. JCK also warns about third-party housing solicitations, so book only through the official partner or directly.
CES at the Venetian Expo
CES 2027 runs Jan. 6–9 across 12 official venues in three campuses, and the Venetian Campus is one of them. Free shuttles run from select official CES hotels to the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Venetian Expo from Tuesday, Jan. 5, to Saturday, Jan. 9, and the Tech Express (Route 9) links the two, boarding on Sands Avenue in front of the Venetian Expo. There’s no public parking at the Venetian Expo during CES. Book through onPeak, CES’s only official housing agent; our guide to hotels near the Las Vegas Convention Center covers CES housing in full. CES hasn’t posted a readable 2027 floor plan for the Venetian halls, so check which hall you’re in before you book.
Getting to the Venetian Expo and CAESARS FORUM
Las Vegas Monorail
There’s no station at either venue. The Monorail lists Harrah’s/The LINQ Station as its stop for the Venetian Expo, and SHOT Show tells riders to get off there “for direct access to Caesars Forum.” During SHOT Show, trains ran every 5 to 6 minutes from 7 a.m. The same station is one stop from the Las Vegas Convention Center. Fares and hours are in our Las Vegas Monorail guide.
Vegas Loop and buses
No official source we read lists a Vegas Loop station at the Venetian Expo or CAESARS FORUM; the Loop serves the Convention Center and north-Strip resorts, as our Vegas Loop guide explains. For buses, RE+ lists RTC Routes 119 and 203 stopping at the Venetian Expo off Sands Avenue, plus the Deuce on the Strip. Routes can change, so check the RTC before you rely on them.
Parking and rideshare
Organizers send Expo drivers to The Palazzo’s underground garage (enter from Sands Avenue) and The Venetian’s 11-story garage (enter from the Strip), and “curbside loading and unloading is prohibited.” The Venetian charges registered hotel guests $20 a day to self-park and $40 for valet, and non-guests $20 Monday to Thursday and $25 Friday to Sunday (as of October 2026). Event rates may apply. The resort’s rideshare pickup is on Level 2 of The Venetian’s garage and at the Palazzo Lower Porte Cochère.
For CAESARS FORUM, there’s no official parking rate online. One event organizer, UNLEASH, tells attendees that parking “is best in the Harrah’s Parking garage.”
Where to stay on a budget near the Venetian Expo
Flamingo is the cheapest walkable pick for CAESARS FORUM, and Treasure Island saves you parking near the Venetian Expo. Three more options:
- Best Western Plus Casino Royale: a small hotel on the Strip next to The Venetian with no resort fee and free self-parking. No official walk time to the Expo exists.
- The Westin Las Vegas: smoke-free and non-gaming (its casino closed in 2017), one block off the Strip on Flamingo Road. The resort fee and parking figures we have are older reports, so check them when you book.
- The Vanderpump Hotel: a 21+ boutique hotel at the Four Corners; its FAQ puts CAESARS FORUM about 10 to 15 minutes away via Harrah’s.

Best Western Plus Casino Royale – Center Strip
- No resort fee
- Free parking
- Center-Strip location
Small, no-frills hotel right on the center Strip that charges no resort fee and offers free parking.

The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa
- Non-gaming & smoke-free
- Short walk to CAESARS FORUM

Non-gaming, smoke-free Westin one block off the Strip on Flamingo Road, a short walk from CAESARS FORUM and the Flamingo/Caesars Palace Monorail station.
The Vanderpump Hotel
- Formerly The Cromwell
- 21+ to check in
- Soleia rooftop pool
Adults-oriented boutique hotel at the Four Corners (formerly The Cromwell), with the Soleia rooftop pool and Drai's nightlife.
Official show hotels come with show shuttles (CES, SHOT Show and JCK all run them). Compare their rates and cancellation terms with a flexible rate on Booking.com before you commit. Still deciding on an area? Start with where to stay in Las Vegas.
FAQ
What is the closest hotel to CAESARS FORUM?
Harrah’s and The LINQ. Both connect to CAESARS FORUM by skybridge, and Harrah’s has the direct second-floor link through Caesars Forum Way; SHOT Show says guests at either “don’t even have to step outside.” Flamingo and Horseshoe are each “less than a 10-minute walk,” per the same organizer.
Is Harrah’s connected to CAESARS FORUM?
Yes, by an indoor, climate-controlled second-floor promenade called Caesars Forum Way, with ADA-compliant skybridge access. Harrah’s calls itself the only Caesars hotel with a direct second-floor skybridge to the Forum, though show organizers say The LINQ also connects by skybridge.
Is CAESARS FORUM connected to the Venetian?
Only during some conventions. Show organizers describe a pedestrian sky bridge between CAESARS FORUM and the Venetian Expo “during conventions,” such as SHOT Show’s SHOT Bridge from the Expo’s Level 2 exhibit floor. Outside those shows, plan to walk through The LINQ or Harrah’s and along the Strip, or take a show shuttle.
How far is the Venetian from the Las Vegas Convention Center?
About a mile as the crow flies, and farther on foot. During CES, the free Tech Express (Route 9) links the Venetian Expo and the Convention Center. At other times, walk to the Harrah’s/The LINQ Monorail station, which is one stop from the Convention Center.
When is SHOT Show 2027?
SHOT Show 2027 runs Jan. 19–22, 2027, at the Venetian Expo and CAESARS FORUM. Official housing is through onPeak and the Venetian/Palazzo block. The 2027 shuttle hotels and reservation deadline hadn’t been announced in mid-October 2026.
Where is AWS re:Invent 2026?
Across several Las Vegas venues, Nov. 30–Dec. 4, 2026: CAESARS FORUM, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian and Wynn. Discounted room blocks close Nov. 5, 2026.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
