Las Vegas parking fees now apply at most big Strip resorts, but not all of them, and the rules differ for hotel guests, day visitors and Nevada residents. Here’s what every hotel in our registry charges as of October 2026, where parking is still free and how to avoid paying.

Quick answer

Most big Strip resorts charge hotel guests about $20 a day to self-park and $40 for valet (MGM Resorts, The Venetian and, per Las Vegas Advisor, Caesars), while visitors pay $20 to $25. Parking is still free for hotel guests at Wynn, Encore, Treasure Island, SAHARA and Circus Circus, and at most downtown and off-Strip hotels.

Las Vegas parking fees at a glance

Rates are per day (24 hours) as of October 2026, and event nights can cost more. Where a resort doesn’t publish its rates, the figures come from Las Vegas Advisor’s parking tables or local news, as marked.

Strip hotels: what guests and visitors pay

MGM Resorts

MGM set its current rates on Dec. 4, 2024, according to KSNV. Registered hotel guests pay $20 a day to self-park, any day of the week; visitors pay $20 Monday through Thursday and $25 Friday through Sunday; and valet costs $40 a day for everyone. Nevada residents get the first three hours of self-parking free by scanning a Nevada driver’s license at the exit, except during special events. A lost ticket costs $50 a day, according to KLAS.

Status is the shortcut. Self-parking is free for MGM Rewards Pearl members and above and for MGM Rewards Mastercard holders, and valet is free from Gold up. A few properties differ: The Signature is valet-only and gives one car per reservation free valet, Excalibur has no valet on MGM’s rate table, and Excalibur is also the only MGM Strip resort with oversized-vehicle parking.

At $20 a day, three nights of self-parking add $60 to a stay at Bellagio or MGM Grand, and valet doubles that.

Caesars Entertainment

Caesars doesn’t publish parking rates on its hotel pages; the FAQs say only that fees apply. Las Vegas Advisor’s table lists $20 per 24 hours for hotel guests. For visitors, it lists $25 a day at Caesars Palace; $20 Monday through Wednesday and $25 Thursday through Sunday at Flamingo, Harrah’s, Horseshoe, The LINQ, Paris and The Vanderpump Hotel; and, at Planet Hollywood, a free first hour, then $18 for one to three hours or $20 up to 24 hours Monday through Thursday and $25 Friday through Sunday. Valet is $40 a day at most properties and $50 at Caesars Palace, per the same table.

The one official price list belongs to The Vanderpump Hotel: $20 a day Monday through Wednesday, $25 Thursday through Sunday, a $20 hotel-guest rate charged to the room, and valet at a flat $40, offered only from Thursday at 3 p.m. to Monday at 3 p.m.

What’s free: self-parking and valet for Caesars Rewards Platinum, Diamond and Seven Stars members (show your card), and up to three free hours of self-parking for Nevada residents with a valid license, except on event nights; Planet Hollywood gives one free hour instead. Registered guests who pay get in-and-out privileges and can use their room key at other Caesars self-park garages.

The Venetian, Wynn and the rest of the Strip

  • The Venetian and The Palazzo: hotel guests pay $20 a day, seven days a week; visitors pay $20 Monday through Thursday and $25 Friday through Sunday; valet is $40. Venetian Rewards Sapphire members and above park free, Ruby and above get free valet, and poker players with three or more hours of play park free that day. Event rates apply for Sphere headliner shows. The full policy is on The Venetian’s parking FAQ.
  • Wynn and Encore: self-parking is free for registered guests, for up to two vehicles, and it’s listed in the resort fee. Everyone else gets three free hours, then pays $25 a day. Valet costs $40 for up to 24 hours with no re-entry, free for Tower Suites guests and Wynn Rewards Chairman and Black members; see Wynn’s parking page.
  • Resorts World: $21 for up to 24 hours, then $21 a day, through a license-plate system. Cars with Nevada plates park free, and Genting Rewards members park free after registering (Las Vegas Advisor lists Elite tier and up). Hotel guests claim a parking pass through an app or text link; the FAQ doesn’t say what it costs. Valet starts at $40.
  • Fontainebleau: everyone gets the first hour free, then pays $20 for up to 24 hours, and valet runs $35 to $40. Self-parking is reported free for hotel guests, Nevada residents and Fontainebleau Rewards members, but Las Vegas Advisor flagged those perks as running only “until 9/7/26,” so confirm before you drive.
  • Treasure Island: the self-park garage (entrance off Mel Tormé Way) and valet are “always free” for hotel guests, and KLAS reported in March 2026 that casino, show, dining and shopping visitors park free too.
  • SAHARA: free self-parking and valet in two garages, one off Las Vegas Boulevard and one off Paradise Road.
  • Circus Circus: the resort advertises “Free Parking Always.” Las Vegas Advisor says valet isn’t offered and oversized vehicles cost extra.
  • The STRAT: paid for hotel guests and visitors alike, free with a valid Nevada ID or Nevada plates. The hotel doesn’t publish rates, and guides disagree: Las Vegas Advisor lists $22 per 24 hours and $25 to $30 for valet, while a 2026 locals’ guide lists lower prices, so check at the gate.
  • Best Western Plus Casino Royale: free self-parking, no valet.
  • Waldorf Astoria and Four Seasons: valet only. Waldorf Astoria charges $45 a day; Las Vegas Advisor lists Four Seasons at $25 a day or $50 overnight, a rate not confirmed by the hotel.

Downtown parking

Downtown is cheaper, and many hotels park their guests free. If you’re visiting rather than staying, the Fremont Street Experience garage on 4th Street charges $4 an hour with a $20 daily maximum Monday through Thursday, and $5 an hour with a $25 maximum Friday through Sunday. A lost ticket costs $25, and event pricing can differ.

  • Golden Nugget: free self-parking for registered hotel guests. Visitors pay $25 a day Monday through Thursday and $50 Friday through Sunday, with validation for dining, shows, poker, qualifying table play and retail. Gold Valet is $20 per car per day.
  • Circa: $25 a day for hotel guests in the Garage Mahal, across the street, and valet is $20 a day, so valet is the cheaper option here.
  • The D and Golden Gate: self-parking and valet at no extra cost for hotel guests.
  • Downtown Grand: free self-parking for guests. Visitors pay $10 to $18 depending on time Monday through Thursday, or $20 a day Friday through Sunday, with validation for a $25 spend at its restaurants. Valet is $20 a night for overnight guests and $25 for visitors.
  • Plaza: free self-parking for guests; visitors pay $15 a day on weekdays and $30 on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • El Cortez: free garage parking for guests, included in the $30 + tax amenities fee.
  • Four Queens and Hotel Apache at Binion’s: guests pay $5 a day, waived if you show a free ALL ACCESS players card at the front desk. Four Queens’ valet is free; Binion’s has no valet.
  • Fremont, California and Main Street Station: guest parking is included, according to the Fremont Street Experience’s hotel pages and 2026 fee lists.

Off-Strip parking

Off the Strip, free parking is the norm. Palms parks everyone free, self and valet. Rio’s self-parking is free for everyone, and registered guests can park RVs, buses and trucks free. Virgin Hotels charges nothing for self-parking or valet, M Resort includes both, and the Station Casinos resorts, from Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch to Durango, are free. South Point calls its garage “Always Free,” Trump International offers complimentary valet (with no self-parking listed), and Ahern Hotel charges no parking fees at all.

Westgate is the exception. It began charging in 2025, at $10 a day according to KLAS or $11 according to Las Vegas Advisor, with valet at $25. The Carriage House charges $10 a day.

How to avoid paying for parking in Las Vegas

  1. Get the right status. MGM Rewards Pearl (or the MGM Rewards Mastercard) for free MGM self-parking, Caesars Rewards Platinum for free Caesars self-parking and valet, Venetian Rewards Sapphire at The Venetian, Wynn Rewards Platinum at Wynn and Encore, and Genting Rewards at Resorts World. Las Vegas Advisor says The STRAT’s True Rewards Solid tier parks free too.
  2. Show a Nevada license. It’s worth up to three free hours at MGM resorts, Caesars resorts and The Venetian, and free parking at The STRAT, Resorts World (Nevada plates) and Fontainebleau. Details are in the FAQ below.
  3. Validate downtown. Golden Nugget validates for dining, shows, poker, table play and retail; Downtown Grand for a $25 restaurant spend; Plaza for Oscar’s diners, bingo, keno and pickleball; and Four Queens and Binion’s for gaming or dining.
  4. Choose a resort fee that includes parking. Wynn, Encore, Treasure Island, SAHARA, Golden Nugget, Plaza, Downtown Grand and El Cortez all fold it in. Our Las Vegas resort fees guide shows what each fee covers.
  5. Park once, then ride. Yes, you can park at one casino and walk to others, but park where you’re spending time and use the pedestrian bridges, free trams and Monorail for the rest. Caesars guests who pay can move between Caesars garages on their room key, and Wynn gives everyone three free hours.
  6. Skip the car. A one-day Monorail eTicket costs $13.95 online, less than a day of MGM self-parking. Our guide to Las Vegas without a car covers the routes.

Event-day parking: Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena and Sphere

Event nights are when free hours disappear and prices rise:

  • MGM resorts: the free hours for Nevada residents don’t apply during special events, and prices may be higher. During T-Mobile Arena events, the New York-New York garage is prepay-only for event parking, and MGM sells prepaid reserved parking for some Allegiant Stadium events at the Mandalay Bay, W Las Vegas and Excalibur garages.
  • Caesars resorts: the free Nevada hours exclude event nights.
  • The Venetian: event rates apply for Sphere headliner shows, and the free Nevada hours don’t. Sphere’s own parking is limited, sold through Ticketmaster, and overnight parking isn’t allowed.
  • Wynn, Resorts World and Fontainebleau: each warns that event or holiday pricing can apply.
  • Near the stadium: NerdWallet reports that the Courtyard by Marriott Las Vegas Stadium Area charges non-guests $75 during stadium events.

Raiders home games left on the 2026 calendar fall on Oct. 18 and 25, Nov. 15, and Dec. 13, 20 and 27. To skip stadium parking altogether, M Resort runs game-day transportation to Allegiant Stadium for its hotel guests, and M Ride shuttles to Allegiant Stadium and T-Mobile Arena leave from Circa’s Garage Mahal. For hotels within walking distance, see hotels near Allegiant Stadium.

Oversized vehicles and EV charging

RVs and oversized vehicles. Excalibur charges $50 per 24 hours for oversized parking, free for MGM Rewards Pearl and above. Rio lets registered guests park RVs, buses and trucks free, Circus Circus runs an RV park with full hookups (booked separately), and Treasure Island sends its guests’ oversized vehicles there for $36 a day. Plaza’s open lot takes oversized vehicles from $20 a day, and South Point allows them overnight for hotel guests only. Many garages can’t take them: Paris and Horseshoe share a 7-foot garage, Flamingo’s clearance is 6 feet 8 inches, SAHARA bans oversized vehicles overnight, and The Vanderpump Hotel fines oversized vehicles $150 a day. Caesars Palace accepts oversized vehicles at main valet only, with no RVs, trailers or hitches.

EV charging. MGM Grand has complimentary chargers in its self-park garage, Westgate in its North garage and Plaza near its garage entrance (Tesla chargers), and The Signature includes charging with its free valet. SAHARA has Tesla Level 2 chargers that work for all EVs on the seventh floor of its West garage, and Treasure Island has stations in its free garage. Luxor, Mandalay Bay and W Las Vegas charge through valet only, at $15 per vehicle per stay. Among Caesars resorts, Caesars Palace and Paris each have four Level 2 stations, Planet Hollywood has four chargers at valet, Flamingo has 21 on Level 3, and Tesla Superchargers sit in the lot beneath the High Roller at The LINQ. New York-New York’s charger is out of service until further notice, and Circa, The D and Golden Gate have none.

Parking in the real cost of your stay

Parking belongs in your per-night math, alongside the resort fee and tax. Compare Wynn, whose $55 resort fee includes self-parking, with MGM Grand, where the $50 fee plus $20 parking comes to $70 a day before tax.

Our Las Vegas trip cost guide builds full budgets, and if you’d rather dodge fees altogether, see hotels without resort fees and cheap Las Vegas hotels. For the trade-offs by neighborhood, start with where to stay in Las Vegas.
