Wynn Las Vegas and its sister tower, Encore, share one north-Strip campus, one resort fee and a perk most Strip luxury resorts charge for: free self-parking for registered guests. The short answer from this Wynn Las Vegas review is that it’s one of the most polished luxury stays in the city, with Forbes Five-Star Tower Suites and spas, but you’ll pay luxury prices for everything from breakfast to a pool umbrella.
Quick Verdict
Book Wynn for a garden-filled resort with Forbes Five-Star Tower Suites, a Five-Star spa, Wing Lei and free guest self-parking. Book Encore instead for the bigger standard room (745 square feet versus 640) and quick access to Encore Beach Club and the Vegas Loop. Skip both if add-on charges for pool seating, the minibar and breakfast will sour the trip, or if you want the center Strip on your doorstep.
Wynn vs Encore: which tower to book
Wynn opened in April 2005 and Encore followed in December 2008. They share an address, parking, the resort fee, check-in times and most amenities, and Wynn guests can use Encore’s facilities. The differences come down to room size, nightlife and noise.
| Feature | Wynn | Encore |
|---|---|---|
| Rooms (Wikipedia) | 2,716 | 2,034 |
| Standard room | 640 sq ft, floor-to-ceiling windows | 745 sq ft, separate sitting area |
| Tower Suites extras | Private Tower Suites pool | Twice-daily housekeeping |
| Pools | Garden-style Pool at Wynn | Pool at Encore, plus 21+ Encore Beach Club |
| Signature dining | Wing Lei (Forbes Five-Star), SW Steakhouse, Mizumi | Sinatra (Forbes Four-Star), Casa Playa |
| Nightlife and transit | Delilah supper club; bridge to The Palazzo | XS Nightclub; Vegas Loop station |
Book Encore if room size is the priority. Its standard rooms add a sitting area and a marble bath with a tub and separate shower, and guests describe a quieter, more refined feel than many Strip hotels. The exception is Encore Beach Club, which some guests hear late into the night on certain floors; ask for a room away from it on party nights.
Book Wynn for Wing Lei, the restaurants on the Lake of Dreams, the golf course and the private Tower Suites pool. Both towers sit at the same luxury price level.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Location
Wynn is at 3131 Las Vegas Boulevard South on the north Strip, at the northeast corner of Spring Mountain Road across from TI. A pedestrian bridge links it to The Palazzo, which connects you to The Venetian’s restaurants and the Grand Canal Shoppes.
For Sphere, Visit Las Vegas points to Wynn’s convention and ballroom hallway as a lesser-known route to the pedestrian bridge leading to the venue, though it gives no walking time. If Sphere is the reason for your trip, compare our hotels near the Sphere.
Convention-goers get a shortcut: Wynn’s FAQ points guests to the Vegas Loop station at Encore, which opened in April 2025 and runs to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Harry Reid International Airport is about five miles away, typically a 10- to 20-minute drive according to Wynn, and there’s no hotel shuttle. A taxi from the airport to this zone is a flat $30.25 before card fees and tax (as of October 2026).
Rooms and Tower Suites
Standard Wynn rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, a 55-inch 4K TV and tablet controls. Guests consistently describe the rooms as spacious and very clean and single out the beds as excellent.
| Room | Size | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Wynn Resort King or Two Queens | 640 sq ft | Floor-to-ceiling windows |
| Wynn Panoramic View | 640 sq ft | Strip or valley views |
| Wynn Panoramic Corner King | 692 sq ft | Floor 28 and up, two walls of windows |
| Encore Resort King or Two Queens | 745 sq ft | Sitting area, tub and separate shower |
| Encore Panoramic View | 745 sq ft | Floors 31 to 63 |
| Encore Tower Suite Parlor | 1,408 sq ft | Living and dining room, wet bar |
| Wynn Fairway Villa | 2,411 to 3,224 sq ft | One or two bedrooms, butler service |
Which view to book: Wynn markets its Panoramic rooms by Strip or valley view. Guest reviews say Strip-facing rooms can be noisy, so light sleepers should lean toward the valley side. If a Sphere view is the goal, The Venetian markets Sphere-view suites, though it doesn’t guarantee them.
The Tower Suites are where Wynn earns its reputation. Wynn Tower Suites hold a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating (Wynn says 2026 marks the 20th consecutive year), as do Encore Tower Suites, while both hotels are rated Four-Star. Entry Tower Suites match the standard rooms in size, so you’re paying for perks: separate registration, a private pool at Wynn, twice-daily housekeeping at Encore, a $50 daily breakfast credit and complimentary valet. Reviewers note that service can still feel transactional, even here.
Pools and Encore Beach Club
- The Pool at Wynn: a garden-style resort pool, open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily on the October 2026 schedule. Cabanas include a flat-screen TV, bottled water, soft drinks, a fruit platter and snacks; book through the concierge.
- Wynn Tower Suites pool: private to Tower Suites guests, with Tableau alongside.
- The Pool at Encore: the resort pool runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Encore’s European pool and Jacuzzi were listed as closed on October 5, 2026.
- Encore Beach Club (21+): a 55,000-square-foot dayclub, per Wikipedia, with pools heated to 80 degrees. It typically opens late morning Friday through Sunday, with events listed into mid-October 2026, and EBC at Night runs on select evenings from 10:30 p.m.
The trade-offs are cost and noise: guests complain about paying extra for umbrellas and seating and about loud music at the pool. Hours change seasonally, so check the schedule before a late-fall or winter trip.
Restaurants and bars
The restaurant list is a main reason to book. At Wynn:
- Wing Lei: Cantonese fine dining in the Tower Suites, rated Five-Star by Forbes Travel Guide.
- SW Steakhouse: Forbes Four-Star, with a patio on the Lake of Dreams.
- Mizumi: Forbes Four-Star Japanese (sushi, robata and teppanyaki) beside a 90-foot waterfall.
- Sartiano’s Italian Steakhouse: opened in March 2026, overlooking Wynn Golf Club.
- Delilah: a supper club with live entertainment.
- PISCES, Cipriani and The Buffet: Mediterranean seafood on the lake, the Italian brand’s first West Coast location, and a buffet with sixteen live kitchens that guests rate well.
At Encore, Sinatra is the Forbes Four-Star Italian room, Casa Playa serves coastal Mexican food (Wynn says chef Sarah Thompson won the 2026 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southwest), and Wazuzu covers Asian fusion and sushi. For drinks, Bar Parasol and the Overlook Lounge face the Lake of Dreams.
Budget for it: pricey breakfasts are a recurring complaint, which makes the Tower Suites’ $50 daily breakfast credit worth more than it sounds.
Casino and entertainment
Wynn’s casino includes a poker room and a race and sports book, and Encore’s adds high-limit gaming. Smoking is allowed on the casino floor, at patio and pool areas and on designated hotel floors; non-smoking rooms carry a cleaning fee of up to $1,500 if someone lights up.
- Lake of Dreams: a free multimedia show on a three-acre lake with a 45-foot waterfall and 5,500 LED lights, every half hour after dusk.
- Encore Theater: rotating headliners and comedians; fall 2026 listings include Lionel Richie, Tom Jones, Bryan Adams and Nate Bargatze.
- XS Nightclub: 21+ at Encore, typically Friday through Sunday from 10:30 p.m.
- Zero Bond: a members-only club that opened in March 2026; membership is by application.
Don’t plan around Awakening. Wynn’s production show plays its final performance on Saturday, October 10, 2026, and the resort hasn’t announced a replacement on its site.
Amenities
- The Spa at Wynn: Forbes Five-Star, reimagined in 2019, open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for guests 18 and older.
- The Spa at Encore: Forbes Five-Star, but its sauna, steam and wet areas are temporarily closed, with treatments $45 cheaper in the meantime (as of October 2026).
- Wynn Golf Club: a par-70, 6,722-yard course by Tom and Logan Fazio.
- Fitness centers: open 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.; guests say Encore’s gets crowded at peak morning hours.
- Shopping: Wynn Esplanade and Wynn Plaza, with boutiques including Chanel, Cartier and Rolex.
- Wynn Resorts app: digital check-in and check-out, handy because lines get long at busy times.
Resort fee and parking
The resort fee is about $55 plus tax per night, according to 2026 fee guides (as of October 2026). Wynn doesn’t publish the figure: its website and booking engine show rates as including the resort fee but excluding taxes, and one 2026 guide puts the fee at $62.36 with tax. Check the breakdown on your reservation. Wynn lists what the fee covers:
- Self-parking for up to two vehicles
- In-room Wi-Fi at 15 Mbps on unlimited devices
- Bottled water, refreshed daily
- Unlimited local, domestic long-distance (including Hawaii and Alaska) and toll-free calls
- Fitness center access for up to two people
- A digital newsstand of magazines and newspapers
Self-parking is free for registered Resort and Tower Suite guests, up to two vehicles. Valet is $40 a day for up to 24 hours, with no re-entry (as of October 2026), and it’s free for Tower Suites guests and Wynn Rewards Chairman and Black members. Visitors who aren’t staying get three free hours, then pay $25 a day. See Wynn’s parking page for details, and compare the Strip in our Las Vegas parking fees and resort fees guides.
Other costs: each extra person beyond two guests is $50 a night, cancellations must be made 72 hours before arrival, and early check-in from 11 a.m. can be guaranteed for a charge. Check-in is 3 p.m.; check-out is noon.

- Golfers: Wynn Golf Club is on property.
- Drivers: free self-parking saves the $20 a day that Bellagio and The Venetian charge their hotel guests.
- Convention-goers: the Encore Loop station runs to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Who should choose another hotel

- Smoke-sensitive guests: smoking is allowed on the casino floor, at pool and patio areas and on designated hotel floors.
- Light sleepers on party weekends: Strip-facing rooms and some Encore floors near EBC can be loud.

Wynn vs Bellagio comes down to location versus extras. Bellagio is the center-Strip classic, with the free Fountains of Bellagio out front, a free Conservatory, a five-pool Mediterranean courtyard and “O” by Cirque du Soleil. Wynn sits on the north Strip but includes guest self-parking (Bellagio charges hotel guests $20 a day), a golf course and Five-Star Tower Suites and spa. Pick Bellagio for a center-Strip base; pick Wynn for the Five-Star tiers and one less daily charge. Our Bellagio Las Vegas review covers the other side.
The newest rival is up the boulevard: Fontainebleau opened in December 2023 with seven pools and LIV nightlife. Our Fontainebleau Las Vegas review runs that head-to-head in full.

Is Wynn Las Vegas worth it?
Yes, if you’ll use what you’re paying for: the Tower Suites, the spas, the restaurants and the free parking. Wynn is expensive, but free self-parking and the resort-fee inclusions take some of the sting out of the extras. To soften the rate, go midweek: in 2025, citywide hotel occupancy ran 88.8% on weekends versus 76.6% midweek, according to the LVCVA, and June through August posted the lowest average daily rates. Our guide to the cheapest time to visit Las Vegas has the details, and our best hotels in Las Vegas list puts Wynn in context. Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.

FAQ
Is Wynn or Encore better?
Encore is better for space: standard rooms measure 745 square feet versus 640 at Wynn, and Encore Beach Club and the Vegas Loop station are on site. Wynn is better for Wing Lei, the Lake of Dreams restaurants, the golf course and its private Tower Suites pool. Both share the resort fee, parking and most amenities.
Is parking free at Wynn for hotel guests?
Yes. Self-parking is free for registered Resort and Tower Suite guests, for up to two vehicles. Valet costs $40 a day (as of October 2026) and is free for Tower Suites guests and Wynn Rewards Chairman and Black members. Visitors who aren’t staying get three free hours, then pay $25 a day.
How much is the Wynn resort fee?
About $55 plus tax per night, according to 2026 fee guides (as of October 2026). Wynn’s own site shows rates as including the resort fee without stating the amount. The fee covers self-parking, in-room Wi-Fi on unlimited devices, daily bottled water, unlimited domestic calls, gym access for two and a digital newsstand.
Is Wynn Las Vegas on the Strip?
Yes. Wynn is at 3131 Las Vegas Boulevard South on the north Strip, across from TI at Spring Mountain Road. Encore shares the campus, a pedestrian bridge connects Wynn to The Palazzo, and the Vegas Loop station at Encore runs to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Is Wynn Las Vegas expensive?
Yes. It’s priced as a luxury resort, and guest reviews say extras such as breakfast, pool seating and the minibar add up fast. Free self-parking and a resort fee that covers Wi-Fi, water, calls and gym access offset some of that. Weekend occupancy runs well above midweek, so weeknights are the easier time to find a better rate.
