The Signature at MGM Grand is a good fit if you want a kitchen, more living space and a hotel lobby without a casino. The trade-off is location: its towers sit behind MGM Grand, so reaching the Strip involves an extra walk. Choose it for a longer stay or a family of up to four; compare other options if you want restaurants and casino action immediately outside your elevator.

Should you book The Signature?

Book for the practical suite amenities and access to the MGM Grand campus. Pick a one-bedroom suite for a separate bedroom and full kitchen; the Deluxe Suite has an open layout and kitchenette. Neither category is a solution for five people in one room.

Deluxe Suite or one-bedroom suite?

The difference is more useful than the word “suite” suggests. The Deluxe Suite is an open living and sleeping space. The one-bedroom gives you a door between the bedroom and living room, a bigger kitchen and a balcony.

Deluxe Suite550 sq ftKing bed and queen sofa bedKitchenette with microwave and two stove tops
One-Bedroom Balcony Suite900 sq ftKing bedroom and queen sofa bedFull kitchen with oven, refrigerator and microwave

Both official room pages list a maximum of four guests, checked October 16, 2026. A larger floor plan does not automatically increase that limit. The sofa bed is in the living space, which matters if one person plans to stay up after the others go to sleep.

The one-bedroom is the more convincing upgrade for a multiday stay. You gain privacy, a dining area and more useful food storage. For a couple spending most of the day outside, a Deluxe Suite may provide everything needed without paying for unused space.

What is actually in the kitchen?

The hotel’s Deluxe Suite page lists a microwave, two stove tops, a mini refrigerator, toaster, blender and coffee maker. The one-bedroom adds an oven and a larger kitchen setup. Dishware and cookware are available on request, so arrange them before planning your first meal.

That makes this a stronger cooking option than a standard casino room with a minibar. Still, decide how much cooking you will do. Breakfast and reheating leftovers need less equipment than preparing dinner for four. Our Las Vegas hotels with kitchens guide compares those choices.

Location and the walk to MGM Grand

The address is 145 East Harmon Avenue. The Signature is connected to the MGM Grand campus, but it is a separate hotel with its own arrival area and towers. Being associated with MGM Grand does not put your suite beside the casino entrance on Las Vegas Boulevard.

Build that extra walk into your daily plans, particularly with children, mobility limitations or a packed show schedule. Do not choose a tower solely from a map: ask which tower and available room category best match your priorities for the campus connection, pool and arrival area.

The MGM Grand review explains the main resort. If you prefer the Bellagio and ARIA side of the Strip, read Vdara vs The Signature before choosing.

Pools and time at the resort

The Signature has its own pool areas, while MGM Grand provides the larger resort-pool experience. Check which pools are operating during your dates, guest-access rules and any age restrictions. A summer pool photograph does not establish what will be open in winter.

If your main goal is spending entire days at MGM Grand’s pool complex, weigh the walk against staying in the main resort. The Signature makes more sense when the kitchen and calmer home base are benefits you will use every day.

Restaurants, coffee and room service

Delights provides a dining option at The Signature, and the wider MGM Grand campus offers more restaurants. The hotel’s FAQ says The Signature does not offer room service or in-room dining; mobile takeout is a separate service. That distinction matters if you expect a full-service meal delivered to your suite after a late arrival.

The kitchen can solve breakfast without a restaurant visit. Arrange grocery pickup or delivery carefully: confirm where orders can be collected, and do not assume a driver can come directly to your floor.

Parking, resort fees and deposits

The official FAQ describes The Signature as valet-only, with complimentary valet for up to one vehicle per reservation, subject to availability. Additional vehicles use MGM Grand parking and can incur charges. The FAQ also describes a parking-pass arrangement when the first vehicle is redirected because Signature valet is full; confirm the instructions at arrival.

Compare the full reservation total, including the resort fee, taxes, extra-person charges and cancellation terms. The FAQ contains inconsistent extra-person fee figures, so verify the amount in your actual booking rather than relying on a single quoted charge. Our hotel deposit guide explains why the card hold is separate from your room price.

Check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m., according to the FAQ checked October 16, 2026. Early arrival does not guarantee room access. The hotel lists a minimum check-in age of 21 and prohibits pets apart from qualifying service animals.

Check The Signature's suites and availability

Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.

Compare the exact listing before paying

Read the property name, room category and operator on the reservation. A privately managed apartment in the Signature towers can have different housekeeping, cancellation and service arrangements from a hotel-managed suite. Similar photographs and the same building address do not establish identical booking terms.

Choose the listing that states the services you need. If a balcony is essential, reserve a category that explicitly includes one. If four people are traveling, enter all four before comparing totals.

Who should choose another hotel?

Choose Vdara for a suite near ARIA and Bellagio. Choose MGM Grand if you want the main resort’s restaurants, casino and entertainment on your doorstep. A family of five needs a different approved room configuration or additional accommodation.

FAQ

Is The Signature the same hotel as MGM Grand?

No. It is a separate suite hotel on the MGM Grand campus, with its own towers and arrival arrangements.

Does every suite have a balcony?

Do not assume so. The One-Bedroom Balcony Suite explicitly includes one; check the exact name and description of any Deluxe category you reserve.

Can five people share a one-bedroom suite?

The standard Deluxe and One-Bedroom Balcony Suite pages each list a maximum of four guests. Book another approved configuration for five.

Is The Signature worth booking for two nights?

It can be if you value the kitchen or separate bedroom. Compare the total with MGM Grand and Vdara; prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
