Palace Station makes the most sense for a Las Vegas trip built around off-Strip dining, gaming and a car, rather than daily walks between central Strip resorts. It offers conventional rooms, larger suites, restaurants and complimentary parking at 2411 West Sahara Avenue. The tradeoff is location: west of Interstate 15 is a different base from a hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard, and free parking does not mean the stay has no resort fee.
Who should choose Palace Station?
This review is based on the hotel’s published rooms, amenities and booking information. We have not personally stayed at Palace Station.
Palace Station is not Caesars Palace
The names can confuse a first-time visitor, but these are separate properties in different locations. Palace Station is on West Sahara Avenue, west of the freeway. Caesars Palace is a central Strip resort. Confirm the street address before booking an event trip or sending arrival instructions to the rest of your party.
The practical implication is transport. Palace Station can work well when you are driving to several parts of the valley, meeting people on the west side or planning to spend time in the hotel itself. It is a less direct match for a trip that assumes a quick return on foot after every central Strip outing.
Compare our off-Strip hotel guide with where to stay in Las Vegas if the neighborhood decision is still open. A hotel can be good value for one itinerary and inconvenient for another without either assessment being contradictory.
Premier King or Premier Double Queen?
The official Premier King page describes a 340-square-foot room with one king bed for two guests. The Premier Double Queen page describes the same published size with two queen beds for four guests. Check the category and accepted occupancy shown for your travel dates.
| Category | Published main beds | Practical reason to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Premier King | One king | A couple or solo traveler who needs one main bed |
| Premier Double Queen | Two queens | Travelers who need two separate main beds |
| Studio or larger suite | Category-specific | More space, after checking privacy and occupancy |
The important distinction is not simply whether the word “suite” appears. A studio-style suite can provide extra space without a separate enclosed bedroom. Ask for a floor plan if one traveler needs to sleep while another uses the living area.
A larger room also does not automatically permit more registered guests. Enter the full party and verify the number allowed, especially when considering extra beds. Our room-type guide explains why bed count, room size and maximum occupancy need separate checks.

Who gets the most out of this room setup?
A couple using the hotel mainly as a sleeping base may find a standard room sufficient. Paying for a larger suite is easier to justify when you will spend time in it, need a separate working arrangement or have a specific layout requirement.
For a family, the double-queen category may solve the main sleeping question more directly than a king room with an uncertain rollaway request. If a fifth person is traveling, do not assume the room can accommodate them just because luggage and floor space appear adequate. Check our family-of-five guide for alternatives designed around that problem.
Do not book expecting an apartment kitchen unless the exact room description explicitly includes one. A photograph of a dining table, bar or refrigerator does not establish a cooktop, microwave or food-storage arrangement. Travelers planning to cook should compare confirmed kitchen-equipped hotels directly.

Restaurants and casino: reasons to stay onsite
The official hotel website presents Palace Station as a casino property with several dining options. That makes it relevant to travelers who want an evening centered on the property rather than treating the room as a remote starting point for Strip sightseeing.
Choose any restaurant plans using the venue’s current menu, hours and reservation system. A hotel-wide restaurant list does not guarantee every venue is open at your preferred hour, included in the room price or available without a wait.
Likewise, a non-smoking bedroom should not be confused with an entirely smoke-free hotel experience. Travelers sensitive to smoke should ask about routes through the property and the casino environment. Our non-smoking hotel guide is a better starting point when a smoke-free building is a core requirement.

Pool, fitness and parking
The official stay page lists an outdoor pool and jacuzzi, fitness facilities, complimentary parking and complimentary valet. It also identifies onsite EV charging in the South Garage, with the valet as a source of current instructions.
Those are useful features for a driving trip, but check the operational details. Pool hours, seasonal schedules and maintenance can affect a visit. An outdoor pool should not be treated as an indoor winter-swimming substitute simply because the weather forecast appears mild.
For EV charging, confirm connector compatibility, access arrangements and whether spaces are available when needed. A charger listed onsite is useful but does not reserve a charging session for your car. Have a second option if charging is essential before your next drive.

Compare the complete cost, including transport
Free parking is a tangible benefit for a driver. It does not establish a no-resort-fee stay. Palace Station has published fee-waiver promotions with eligibility conditions, such as Nevada identification; those should not be applied to every visitor or every rate.
Read the final breakdown for the selected stay, including mandatory fees, tax, extra-person charges and any paid options. If a promotional benefit is important, keep the offer terms with the confirmation and verify the required identification or booking channel.
Transport can change which hotel is cheaper. Compare a full evening’s round-trip rides with the difference between Palace Station and a suitable hotel closer to your main activities. Use realistic trips rather than assuming a single inexpensive ride represents every late-night journey. Our Las Vegas trip-cost guide helps organize that comparison.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Alternatives to compare before booking
If you want a different west-side casino experience, compare Palms and inspect the location and room category independently. For a more resort-oriented western base, Red Rock is another comparison, but it serves a different part of the valley.
If the real goal is a central Strip stay at a manageable complete price, use our cheap Las Vegas hotel guide and account for parking and resort fees. A room that costs more upfront can still be the better choice when it saves several journeys.

Frequently asked questions
Is Palace Station on the Strip?
No. It is at 2411 West Sahara Avenue, west of Interstate 15. It should not be confused with Caesars Palace on the central Strip.
Is parking complimentary?
The official hotel stay page advertises complimentary parking and valet. Check current instructions and restrictions for your vehicle.
Does free parking mean there is no resort fee?
No. Parking and mandatory nightly charges are separate items. Any fee-waiver promotion must be checked for eligibility and the selected rate.
Do Premier rooms have queen beds or double beds?
The official Premier Double Queen category lists two queen beds. Select that specific category when two main beds are essential, rather than relying on a general room request.
