Caesars Palace is the first hotel to compare for a show at The Colosseum because the venue is inside the resort. Bellagio, Flamingo and Harrah’s are useful alternatives when a different room price or hotel style better fits the rest of your trip. Compare the full stay and the actual entrance-to-venue route, rather than treating a nearby map marker as a short walk from your room.

Quick answer

Stay at Caesars Palace for the simplest hotel-to-show arrangement. Compare Bellagio for a central luxury alternative, Flamingo for a different budget and pool offering, and Harrah’s for a base toward The LINQ and northern central Strip. We do not assign walking times that the venues have not verified.

This is a venue-specific shortlist. If most of your itinerary is elsewhere, our where-to-stay guide is a better way to choose the overall base.

1. Caesars Palace: stay in the venue’s resort

Staying at Caesars removes the need to travel between hotels for the show. That is particularly useful for a late finish, a short concert trip or anyone who wants dinner, the performance and the room within the same resort.

The tower still matters. Caesars has multiple accommodation areas, and the route from one tower can differ from another. Use the property map and ask the hotel which available category best fits your route to The Colosseum.

Do not choose a room solely because it is the cheapest Caesars rate. Compare the tower, beds, view and cancellation conditions. The Caesars Palace review explains the room-selection differences.

2. Bellagio: a different luxury stay near the central resort cluster

Bellagio is worth comparing if the Colosseum show is one part of a trip that also includes Bellagio restaurants, the fountains or time around the ARIA Campus. You may value the rest of the stay enough to accept traveling between resorts for one evening.

Plan the pedestrian route in advance. The size of each property and the chosen entrances matter, and the distance between front signs is not the full room-to-seat journey.

Read the Bellagio review before choosing a room. If a fountain view is part of the occasion, reserve a specifically named category rather than relying on a special request.

3. Flamingo: compare the full price and pool needs

Flamingo deserves a look when you want a different room budget in the central Strip area. It can also fit a trip where the family-friendly pool options and nearby LINQ Promenade matter during the days around the show.

Compare the exact room category and pool-access rules. The hotel has different pool experiences, and an adults-only venue is not a substitute for a family pool. Check seasonal operation if you expect a pool day before the performance.

Allow time to leave the hotel, cross between the relevant resort areas and reach the venue. Read the Flamingo review for the room and location trade-offs.

Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.

4. Harrah’s: for a broader northern central-Strip itinerary

Harrah’s is useful to compare when other plans involve The LINQ, its shared Monorail station area or CAESARS FORUM. In that case, staying closer to the rest of the itinerary may be worth a less direct Colosseum journey.

Check the tower and room description, then plan the actual walk to Caesars. Do not assume the Monorail takes you directly to the venue entrance: the hotel and venue route still needs to be considered separately.

Our Harrah’s review explains the rooms and surrounding connections. For an all-weekend itinerary, use location together with room cost rather than choosing by a single show.

Before booking around a performance

Confirm the venue, performance date and ticket terms first. The Las Vegas Strip has multiple theaters with similar concert schedules, and a ticket at another resort changes the best hotel location.

Then search hotels for the nights you actually need. A late show may justify staying that night instead of planning an immediate departure. Compare flexible rates while the travel schedule is still being finalized.

Check the venue’s current entry, bag and accessibility arrangements. A hotel booking does not include show admission or guarantee an accessible seat. If you need a particular route or assistance, establish those arrangements directly with the venue and property.

Dinner, transport and the return to your room

Book dinner separately and leave a margin between the meal and venue entry. Moving through a large resort can take longer than the map suggests, especially when elevators, crowds or queues affect the route.

If taking a taxi or rideshare, use the designated pickup and drop-off area. Do not assume a vehicle can stop at the theater doors. For pedestrians, compare the route with our Strip walking guide, then use the current property map.

Compare complete hotel costs

Use the same dates, number of guests and cancellation conditions for each hotel. Include resort charges, taxes, parking and any transport for the rest of your itinerary.

Prices vary according to travel dates and availability. A higher room price at Caesars can make sense for the same-resort convenience; a lower complete price elsewhere can make sense when the show is only one evening of a longer trip.

FAQ

Which hotel is The Colosseum inside?

The Colosseum is at Caesars Palace. It is not the venue at Park MGM, The Venetian or another Strip resort.

Does booking Caesars include tickets?

Only assume tickets are included when a specific package clearly states the performance and admission terms. A standard room reservation is separate.

Is the closest hotel always the best value?

No. Compare the room product, full price and the rest of your itinerary. Caesars provides the direct same-resort option.
