Choose Vdara if your plans center on ARIA, Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan. Choose The Signature at MGM Grand if you want a suite on the MGM Grand campus, especially when its kitchenette or one-bedroom full kitchen fits a longer stay. Both provide non-gaming hotel environments, but the room layouts, pool setting and walk to the Strip are different.
Quick answer
Vdara has the more useful location for the ARIA and Bellagio cluster. The Signature makes a strong case when you will use MGM Grand’s campus and its clearly specified kitchen-suite categories. Neither is the automatic choice for five guests in a standard suite.

Location matters more than the shared suite label
Vdara is the natural option for repeated visits to ARIA, Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan. Its hotel connections can make those destinations easier to combine, although the room-to-destination route still includes walking.
The Signature sits behind MGM Grand on East Harmon Avenue. It works well when MGM Grand’s restaurants, entertainment and pool complex are central to your itinerary. If you expect to leave the campus several times a day, account for the walk between your tower and the Strip.
Neither should be selected simply because an online map places it near Las Vegas Boulevard. Identify the entrance and route you will actually use, especially when traveling with children or a mobility device.

Studio-style space or a private bedroom?
The Signature’s Deluxe Suite is listed at 550 square feet, with a king bed and queen sofa bed in an open layout. Its One-Bedroom Balcony Suite is listed at 900 square feet and adds a separate bedroom. Both room pages list a maximum of four guests, checked October 16, 2026.
At Vdara, distinguish studio-style categories from suites with a separate bedroom. More floor space alone does not solve the problem of different bedtimes. A door between the living space and bedroom can be more useful to a family than a higher floor or view upgrade.
For a couple, compare the actual price difference rather than assuming one-bedroom accommodation is necessary. For two unrelated adults, check whether using a sofa bed is acceptable before choosing a king-and-sofa layout.

Which is better for cooking?
The Signature gives a particularly clear distinction: the Deluxe Suite has a kitchenette, while the One-Bedroom Balcony Suite includes a full kitchen with an oven. The official pages also list a microwave and refrigerator; cookware and dishware are available on request.
At Vdara, choose the suite by its appliance list. If a microwave, oven or larger refrigerator is essential, make it an explicit requirement rather than assuming every kitchen setup is the same.
Our hotels with kitchens guide compares both with Elara. Think about grocery collection, fridge space and the meals you will actually cook. A kitchen has less financial value if every meal is already planned at a restaurant.
Pools and the wider resort
Vdara offers a hotel-pool setting. The Signature has its own pool areas and a relationship with MGM Grand’s wider resort facilities. Confirm which pools are operating and the access rules for your booking and dates.
If the pool is the main event, compare your expected daily route as carefully as the pool photographs. Returning to the suite for lunch, changing or children’s naps can make repeated walking a substantial part of the day.
Do not assume that Vdara guests can use ARIA’s pools or that every MGM pool attraction operates year-round. Seasonal operation needs its own check.
Dining, service and everyday routines
Vdara places you by several large restaurant resorts. The Signature provides Delights and access to MGM Grand’s wider dining selection. Its current FAQ says it does not offer room service or in-room dining, so plan separately for food after a late arrival.
Check the operator of the accommodation you reserve. A privately managed apartment in a familiar tower can have different housekeeping, arrival and cancellation conditions from a hotel-managed suite. Choose on stated services, not the building name alone.
Parking and the real price difference
The Signature’s official FAQ describes complimentary valet for one vehicle per reservation, subject to availability, with separate conditions for additional vehicles. That can materially affect a driver’s comparison with Vdara, but read the current terms and arrival instructions.
Compare the full room total, resort charges, taxes, parking and extra-person costs. Use matching cancellation terms. A non-refundable deal should not be compared directly with a flexible booking as though the room price were the only difference.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.

Which would fit your trip?
- Choose Vdara for a suite-based stay around the ARIA and Bellagio cluster.
- Choose The Signature for a practical kitchen suite tied to the MGM Grand campus.
- Compare Elara if shopping access and larger group-suite options matter more than either resort campus.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability. Let the location and room configuration decide whether a price premium buys something useful.
FAQ
Which is better for a family of five?
Do not use a Signature Deluxe or standard one-bedroom suite for five; its official pages list four guests. Compare a specifically approved larger category or additional rooms. Check Vdara’s exact capacity too.
Does The Signature have better kitchens?
Its one-bedroom category explicitly includes an oven and full kitchen. Compare that with the specific Vdara category, rather than making a hotel-wide assumption.
Which has the more central location?
Vdara is better placed for ARIA, Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan. The Signature is more useful for MGM Grand plans.
