Las Vegas hotel package delivery requires the property’s receiving instructions, not just its street address. A hotel may accept a parcel through a business center, charge handling fees and require identification before release. Confirm the label, timing and collection process before ordering, particularly when your stay is short or the shipment is valuable, perishable or needed for a meeting.

Quick answer

Ask the hotel’s package or business-services team for its current guest shipping instructions. Use the registered guest’s name and required reservation details, check receiving and storage charges, and plan pickup during staffed hours. A carrier’s delivered status does not establish that the parcel has reached your room or is ready for collection.

Contact the receiving team before placing the order

Start with the property where you are actually staying. Ask whether it accepts your type of shipment, how early it may arrive and who must collect it. Then obtain the correct shipping label and current fee schedule from the receiving team.

Do not assume that the front desk, concierge, loading dock and business center all receive the same deliveries. A hotel may route guest parcels differently from event freight or ordinary mail. Giving a retailer the main hotel address alone can leave important routing details missing.

Our business-hotel guide helps compare accommodation for a work trip. If a delivery is essential, receiving arrangements should be checked alongside the room and meeting location before you commit to the stay.

MGM’s published guest-label instructions

MGM’s official FAQ advises addressing the package to the relevant hotel with the recipient’s name, “Hotel Guest” and the arrival date. It describes notification through the property’s Business Services Center and weight-based processing and delivery fees.

Treat that as a starting framework, then request the chosen property’s exact instructions. A building’s business center may require additional information or a dedicated receiving address. Include a reservation number when the hotel’s own directions request it, and avoid inventing a room number before assignment.

If your shipment is addressed to someone else, ask about authorization before sending it. A matching registered guest name makes the collection process easier to document; it does not remove any identification or signature requirements the receiving team applies.

Venetian: use the current FedEx instructions

The Venetian’s official FedEx shipping instructions emphasize the recipient’s name, contact details and the required label format. They also address early arrival, storage and unclaimed packages. Convention shipments may need additional event details that do not belong on an unrelated leisure guest’s order.

Ask the receiving team which instructions apply to your parcel instead of copying an old conference label. Confirm whether the delivery will be held at the center or can be brought to the room, and what each service costs.

Read the Venetian review if the hotel is on your shortlist. The existence of a FedEx facility is useful for planning, but it does not make every shipment free, immediate or suitable for the property’s receiving process.

Vdara and New York-New York show why timing varies

Vdara’s business-center page publishes an advance-storage period of 14 days before check-in and describes weight-based handling. It also asks guests to arrange perishable shipments in advance. Those conditions belong to Vdara and should not be extended to another hotel.

New York-New York’s business-center page says storage charges may apply after seven days and asks for a reservation number on package labels. It makes clear that receiving or handling charges are separate from the carrier’s transportation charge.

The Vdara review and New York-New York review help compare the stays. Their published receiving policies illustrate the need for property-specific planning rather than a single “Vegas hotels accept packages” rule.

Build the complete cost before ordering

Separate the seller’s shipping charge from hotel receiving, storage and delivery charges. Free shipping from a retailer does not settle the hotel’s work in receiving and releasing the parcel. Ask whether the quoted fee is per package, weight band or service.

Several small boxes can be handled differently from one consolidated shipment. If a retailer may split an order, ask how each parcel would be billed. Also check the cost and instructions for sending something back if it arrives late or is unsuitable.

Cost or conditionQuestion to ask
ReceivingIs there a charge for each parcel or weight band?
Early arrivalWhen do storage charges begin?
Room deliveryIs delivery included or a separate service?
After-hours collectionCan a guest collect when the center is closed?
Return shipmentWho prepares the label and pays the handling charge?

Use the Las Vegas trip-cost guide to place delivery costs beside the other expenses of the stay. For an ordinary purchase, collecting it locally may be simpler, but only if that option fits the rest of your itinerary.

Allow time after the carrier marks it delivered

Track the shipment, then contact the hotel’s receiving team through its official details. Ask whether the parcel has been processed and is ready for release. A carrier scan may identify receipt at the property without resolving the hotel’s internal handover.

Keep the tracking number, order confirmation and registered guest details available. If there are several parcels, track each individually and check the total collected. This makes a missing-item inquiry more precise than asking whether “an order” has arrived.

Our early-check-in guide addresses arriving before the room is ready. That situation does not establish package access: ask separately whether you can collect a shipment before check-in has been completed.

Plan for late arrivals and checkout

If you arrive after the receiving desk closes, check the next collection opportunity before ordering an item needed that evening. Do not assume that a 24-hour hotel reception means every support department is staffed around the clock.

Before departure, confirm what happens to any shipment still in transit. Arrange forwarding, refusal or a return label with the receiving team and seller as appropriate. Do not leave a valuable parcel’s next step unspecified after your reservation ends.

For a move between hotels, our split-stay guide helps plan the lodging. Ask the receiving teams which property should receive the shipment; a future reservation at another hotel does not automatically transfer the parcel there.

FAQ

Can I send an online order to a Las Vegas hotel?

Possibly, but obtain that hotel’s approval and shipping instructions first. Confirm the label, accepted items, charges and timing instead of using only the main street address.

Does free shipping include hotel handling fees?

No. A seller’s shipping offer concerns its delivery charge. Hotel receiving, storage and room delivery can be separate services with their own prices.

Can a package arrive before I check in?

That depends on the property. Vdara publishes a specific advance-storage period, while other hotels set their own conditions. Confirm the allowed arrival window and identify the reservation correctly.

Will the hotel keep a late parcel indefinitely?

Do not assume so. Hotels publish retention or return conditions, and storage charges may apply. Arrange the next step with the receiving team before checking out.

Choose your base using the where-to-stay guide, then resolve receiving details before making a delivery-dependent reservation.
