Las Vegas hotel food delivery can mean three different things: an outside delivery app, hotel-operated room service or an integrated ordering service supplied by the resort. Check which one you are using before expecting food at the room door. For an outside order, confirm the permitted pickup point with the hotel and give the driver clear instructions for that location.
Quick answer
Do not assume an outside driver can reach your guest floor. Ask the hotel where to meet a delivery, use the correct entrance and stay available by phone. For delivery to the room itself, compare the hotel’s current in-room dining or integrated resort-ordering service and its complete charges.
Las Vegas hotel food delivery: three different services
| Service | Who supplies the delivery arrangement | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Outside app order | Restaurant and delivery platform | Hotel access, pickup point and final price |
| Hotel in-room dining | The hotel’s own service | Current hours, menu and room delivery charges |
| Resort-integrated ordering | Participating resort outlets and its delivery team | Eligible outlets, delivery locations and category rules |
A familiar app logo does not settle the access question. The same platform can power a resort’s own ordering system and also sell unrelated deliveries from outside restaurants. Follow the instructions for the particular service rather than transferring a room-delivery promise to every driver.
Our hotel room-amenities guide covers the broader room setup. This page focuses on ordering, pickup and deciding which accommodation makes the food routine easiest for your stay.

Confirm the meeting point before ordering
Ask the front desk or concierge where outside food deliveries should meet registered guests. Use the hotel’s current instructions, especially if your room is in a named tower with a separate entrance. Do not enter only the room number and assume that resolves building access.
Give the driver the full property name, street address and approved entrance or pickup point. Distinguish the hotel lobby from a rideshare zone, parking garage or neighboring building. If you are unsure which entrance is meant, find it before placing the order.
The delivery platform showing a hotel address means it can offer delivery to that address; it does not itself establish permission to access a guest elevator or corridor. Confirm the handoff plan directly. If nobody in your party can collect an outside order, arrange a service the hotel confirms can reach you.
Avoid timing the order around an uncertain arrival
Order after you know where you will receive it and can respond to messages. A flight arrival time, anticipated room-readiness time or journey estimate is not a dependable handoff appointment. If your plans change, contact the driver through the platform promptly.
For a late arrival, inspect current food options before choosing the hotel. Room-service hours vary, and a menu found in an old PDF may not reflect the current schedule. Our after-midnight check-in guide covers the reservation side of that arrival plan.
Keep a backup that does not depend on another uncertain delivery. That could be an available on-property option or a permitted simple meal you bring yourself. If you expect to eat in the room regularly, kitchen and refrigerator facilities deserve attention before booking.
Hotel room service: check the current page
MGM Grand’s current in-room dining page describes food delivered to the room door and publishes different hours across the week. That is a hotel-run service, not evidence that an outside driver has the same access. Consult the current page rather than assuming it operates around the clock.
The hotel’s ordering method can also differ from your expectation. Check whether it uses a phone call, mobile order or another official route, and whether the food arrives in takeaway packaging or with a particular service setup. Pick the option for convenience you will actually use.
Our MGM Grand review covers the wider stay. Compare the room-service timetable with your likely return time from shows or meetings, and inspect the final order for delivery charges, service charges, taxes and any optional gratuity before accepting it.

Resorts World: integrated delivery is its own product
Resorts World’s official hotel-services guide distinguishes its integrated Grubhub room-service arrangement from a separate in-room dining product for specified premium accommodation. The integrated system uses participating on-property outlets and the resort’s delivery arrangements.
That is different from opening an ordinary app listing for an unrelated restaurant across town. Use the room’s official instructions, confirm the available delivery locations and check the outlets operating at the time you order. An integrated system still depends on participating venues and their hours.
The same official guide describes premium in-room dining eligibility by accommodation. Do not assume an amenity marketed for Crockfords or certain Conrad suites is included with every Hilton or Conrad room. Our Resorts World review helps compare those hotel products before choosing the room.
Compare room service with pickup by the final total
Start with the order’s total, not the menu price of one dish. Check delivery charges, service charges, taxes and the gratuity wording. An outside app can have its own fees, while an on-property option can charge separately for room delivery.
Then compare the effort. An apparently cheaper outside meal may require somebody to leave the room, find the meeting point and carry the order back. That can still be worthwhile, but it is a different service from a confirmed room-door delivery.
Read the gratuity wording before adding another tip. Our Las Vegas tipping guide explains why a service charge and an optional gratuity should be examined rather than assumed. Do not expect a hotel breakfast or resort credit to cover an outside-app purchase unless the written offer explicitly includes it.

Food storage matters if you order more than one meal
Confirm that your room has a refrigerator intended for personal food. A stocked minibar is a separate feature and should not be treated as spare grocery space. Our refrigerator guide identifies the room-level details worth checking.
Do the same with reheating equipment. A microwave is not established by a coffee maker, refrigerator or a broad “suite” label. If leftover storage and reheating are central to your routine, a suitable kitchen suite may be more useful than relying on repeated delivery orders.
Use our hotels with kitchens comparison to assess those options. Compare appliance lists and available utensils, then choose a room that supports the meals you actually plan to prepare.
Prices vary according to travel dates and availability.
Choose the hotel around the food routine you need
A visitor ordering one late dinner has different needs from a family planning a week of breakfasts and simple meals. For one order, a clear pickup plan may be sufficient. For repeated cooking, storage and cleanup, the room’s facilities become more important.
Consider the Venetian review if hotel in-suite dining is a priority; its official suite information describes that service. Confirm current menus and any time-specific limits for your stay rather than transferring the arrangement to another resort.
For a broader shortlist, begin with where to stay in Las Vegas. Pick a location and hotel that fit the visit, then compare the room-service and kitchen details. Saving on one delivery is less valuable than choosing accommodation that supports your daily routine.
FAQ
Can DoorDash or Uber Eats bring food to my hotel room?
Do not assume room-door access. Confirm your hotel’s current outside-delivery policy and meeting point before ordering. A platform offering delivery to the street address does not establish access to guest floors.
Is an app-based resort service the same as an outside delivery?
No. A resort can use an app for its own participating outlets and delivery team. Follow its official ordering instructions. An unrelated restaurant order through the same platform may have a different handoff arrangement.
Is Las Vegas hotel room service always available 24 hours?
No universal schedule applies. Check the hotel’s current in-room dining page for your travel day. MGM Grand, for example, publishes hours that vary across the week, so an older menu should not be used as a guarantee.
Should I choose a kitchen suite instead?
Consider one when you expect repeated meals in the room and need personal food storage or cooking equipment. Compare the actual appliances and complete stay cost. For an occasional delivered meal, a confirmed pickup or room-service arrangement may be enough.
